I frequently purge unused and old clothing plus I keep most of my textures boxed up.

After boxing, re-boxing, and foldering, I am proud to say my 300k+ inventory is down under 150k now ...I think, pretty sure, I haven't looked lately. 

I do throw things away, but I do a lot more boxing of old items, then boxing those boxes into new boxes, and foldering those boxes. The vast majority of my inventory is building supplies and partially finished projects, plus breedables I have a ***** ton of breedables. I have hardly any av accessories including clothes, skin, hair, shoes, etc. I don't even think my av accessories even total 300, lol.

59,686 currently - I was down to 58K a couple of weeks ago, and deleted a lot of hair since then (my hair folder is under control! woop!), but the 70-ish Steam Hunt gifts, group gifts and items I've made backup copies of seem to have bumped it up again..

I feel much better about my 70-75k inventory after reading the size some people have.

Last I checked, at least half of that is old stuff that still needs to be gone through - and likely purged; much of it is pre-mesh.

I try to keep my inventory below 30,000 but it's up around 32,000 at the moment. I never throw anything away though, I box everything up instead.
