As the pandemic begins to recede here, it's a joy to see the parks once again resounding with the laughter and the shouts of kids, clambering over the play sets, throwing balls to each other, learning how to socialize and connect and be creative, in all of the noisy, bumptious ways that kids hav . . . lol, just kidding. Falafels. Falafels make me really happy. Especially when they have those sort of sharp, tangy pickled turnip things in them. And hot sauce.
