With all the new regions popping up and getting spiffied up for SL19B, it's probably been a little easier for us to spot our elusive Moles and Lindens inworld. Here's a thread to post your pictures of them.

I've only ever encountered one Mole working in Bellisseria, back in 2019, but I've never spent much time wandering the areas that are still being built.

Those are all great, but I think Spirit Mole takes the cake for the best avatar in these pictures.  🙂

It looked even better in real life, very sparkly. My favourite though is probably Adora, even the chainsaw was cute with heart cut-outs in the blade.

No Mole pictures. Only have pics of a few Lindens, including the one that told me about SL back in 1933.

Awww... those are lovely archival photos. Back in the day, moles wore those clumsy protective suits all the time. Those helmets with the long noses were hot and very difficult to work in, to say nothing of being very unfashionable. Fortunately, modern lightweight materials have made it possible to work in gear that is hardly visible unless you look very closely. Also, thanks to improved agreements between labor and management, we now do much of our hazardous work remotely and have much better conditions for workplace safety. In fact, except for the QA crew, many of us no longer need to wear protective gear at all.

i don't think Guy Linden ever changes, only pic i have was snapped to an alt's feed nearly 5 years ago when he was just behind my plot in Jieut consolidating all the abandoned parcels' in to one

Ebbe, when he just started as CEO. He was visiting many people in SL and asked them: "How can I help?" Many of the requests people made during his tour have come to fruition in SL, Experiences, Animesh and many other things. (I needed to upgrade my viewer at the time because I couldn't see the new rigged mesh avatars very well.)

Widely and Xiola at the super secret Illuminati meeting.

Marianne (surely, if this is about Moles and Lindens, we can't forget the McCanns) and Strawberry, long ago, at an airfield with little airplanes, far, far away.

I remember running into another Linden (forgot the fella's name) one day eons ago.  He was also consolidating micro sized abandoned parcels into larger ones. We chatted for a moment and he mentioned he was doing that project due to OCD - he hated tiny plots.

I am not sure if this counts but pretty sure this was when I was on my long retired Mole account and a friend took the picture way back.  As you can see I was a master of staring at my own kneecap and ignoring that half my arm was missing and under carriage.

It's true you sometimes have to be quick to Snap a Mole, but it doesn't hurt them as much as Whac a Mole would. I think Sleepy Mole even posed for this one.

Whack-a-Mole happens when one of them either re-rail a topic on the board or secure the topic and/or move to trash area in the staff area.

I'm looking on an old PC for a pic of Ebbe.  He came into my former venue one time when I was working on it and no one else was there.  We talked shop and stuff. He is sorely missed.
