Have you tried using one as a display name?  Your name isn't that difficult but it does take some thought to type it out.  Heck, my name is even easier and I still get Ro now and then which is fine with me.

Yes,i tried  many different ones,but sometimes I get tired and then reset name) in fact this peeve is from my whole sl experience since 2012,not just recent:)

Did they spell my name wrong?  Oh ffs!!  Yes it is.  Now I'm A fairly intelligent woman (yes, an actual woman) who if making an alt to cruise the escort sims would certainly NOT make one that looked just like me.  I also have no idea what "botted her out" means.  We did have a laugh about it today though.  I didn't even notice they'd spelled my name wrong.

Well you know you have made it when you get flamed out on that site.  There was a time years ago where every week things about me popped up on there for a while.  Of course, that was pre-youcannamepeoplenow days.

Do I at least get some kind of trophy?  Prizes?  A star on the walk of fame?  I looked at that site once before and thought it was pretty lame.  If I have a problem with someone, I talk to them like an adult or ignore them entirely.  I'm not going to hide in some online site for crying babies.

Some loony on here once sent me a whole load of messages inworld. Unfortunately, I get in there very very rarely these days (and when I do, it's often with a different account), so it was months before I saw them...and then it was just a massive flash of wall-of-text sandwiched between 50000000 other messages and notifications, and I couldn't possibly read it before it disappeared. I just managed to catch words to the effect of "I AM A TOTAL FRUITLOOP AND MUST HAVE SPENT HOURS HAMMERING OUT THIS CRAP", so it was pretty easy just to shut off the messages box and block the user, took maybe five seconds.

I once got a private message on the forums. A long rant how I could dare to be so rude to his girlfriend. I had no idea what he was talking about until I investigated a bit and found out that he was talking about a thread, that was like 5 years old at that point.

Rompers, yes rompers are my peeve.  I hates them I do.  Sorry, but I am never wearing a romper.  

There I vented at rompers.  I truly cannot stand them.

Although, in rl, me and my two older sisters looked cute in them when I was 3.   We used to call them "babydolls" when I was little although those babydolls are what some grown women call rompers.  

Someone mentioned flip-flops in another thread - can't stand them either.  But, rompers are my no. 1 - no way I'm wearing those.

While some rompers are very cute looking, and I do sometimes wear them in SL, I cannot stand wearing them in RL.  I hate them in RL for the same reason that I cannot stand wearing pantsuits and one-piece swimsuits - because I have to fully disrobe in order to go to the bathroom.

Yeah this too; I don't like have to disrobe.  I don't remember how it was at 3 though...but I do remember now them being called "babydoll rompers".  My sisters and I wore those babydoll rompers for many Summers.  I liked them then but now I cannot stand them as they were once clothing for children only.  I just hate them now but I liked them as a kid and the why I liked them I can't remember - probably because they were cute when I was little, a little bit frilly.

   I saw that - I got the feeling whoever composed it ought to be returned to the third grade, so that they may be taught how to write. I fondly remember that one time I ended up on there; some absolutely loony took a joke the wrong way and whinged about me 'genuinely wanting to kill people'. Ah, the heartwarming stupidity of the ignorant dregs of our society, unleashed to the global stage through the miracle that is the Internet. What a time to be alive!

Being a good friend and battling for 35 mins to get into a store to buy a limited edition item for a friend who is off "real lifing", clicking the "gift" option, inputting their name, being told "We found them, pay the vendor now" and getting sent the item instead of them!

After talking to the store CSR....nothing they can (or will) do, so I am out 3500L and have an item I didn't want.

Should have saved the chat because Im sure it states that in there and line it up with the transaction time. I'm surprised they couldn't do anything since it obviously didn't do what was intended and it's easy to verify what you are saying is true by the time stamp of the transaction. I likely wouldn't use that vendor again. I'd take it up with SL to be honest.

Wow. And I had the same thing happen to me not too long ago. I *know* I filled out the gift thing correctly, and even included a gift card. I didn't hear from the recipient for days, which was odd because they are polite and would normally send a "Thanks!" Then I looked in my inventory and... the gift was sent to me!

Unlike you, the store's owner was FABULOUS and sent the gift to the right person ASAP. It may have helped that I already had the item in my inventory. $L3500 is not a fun thing to lose.

lesson learned, give them the money next time and let them buy it for themselves. yes it might supposed to have been a gift or surprise. but it still works either way.
