I decided to get a whole hat, which is 8 containers or a whole rack.. They came in last night and I waited until this morning to get mine. Omg, some of these strawberries are the size of apples.. They are so good that I'm gonna have to make myself quit eating them.. It's hard though, because they are so good.. Entitled "Change of Life," she's put it together partially in recognition of International Women's Day on Monday. It is intensely personal and, in some respects, a bit squirmy. It's a bit like new world has opened to explore places. Saskia is one of my favourite photographers, and I've learned a ton (and stolen a few ideas) from her. I'm sorry I missed @Horus Salubrius and @Zzevir there! It's really compelling -- stark and stripped-down and more than a little disturbing, because it's a take on environmental destruction and mining that employs her RL pics of the terrible damage being inflicted upon her part of Italy. Some of the images feature near-faceless figures of miners who become slightly sinister representations of the Anthropocene and the damage we are all inflicting on the place we live. At the same time, there is a kind of weird beauty to the photos of plundered rock faces . . .
