Selina Heart
For years I've called my parcels Cariad which is Welsh for love. Yes, I am Welsh but English is my first language. I also used to call some Nos Da, which means Good Night, but haven't done that with a LL home for years. Really sorry to hear about the griefers @93YearOld
Claireschen Hesten
All my Bellisseria properties have been called "Hesten Acres" it has a nice ring to it, sounds a bit fancy and I've always liked the idea of using the name if I ever got rich enough to have land to rent out
Raspberry Crystal
Nobody has a 'keyboard smash' name for their house? vbuhjmkl Actually, there's usually a Raspberry in mine somewhere. One houseboat was proud to be known as ''The Floating Raspberry', which seemed to amuse me at the time. 6
Beth Macbain
The houseboat parcel is Boaty McBoatface. The camper parcel is Beth's Pink Box. And though the parcel isn't named so, the Victorian is the Chintzy Lady.
LittleMe Jewell
All of mine have Jewel in the name (just like the land group), things like: My Little Jewel, A Jewel of a Home, etc...
Cinnamon Mistwood
I go for alliteration Polly's Place, Polly Pad, Polly's Pigpen (when she had a camper) Cinn's Sancuary, Cinn's Shack, Cinn's Settlement That's it. I only have the 2 accounts in Premium.
Knutz Scorpio
Knutz Place Not terribly original, and not consistent if I put a 's in there or not.
PrudenceAnton
Cian started the name of our parcel way back in 2006 and we haven't changed it since. Source of Serenity. Although, when we had our houseboat, I did give it a more suited name, Ships Go East.
Raevyn Addams
My home is named Leeland. Original it's not. But it has two Lee's who occupy it (Riley and myself) and the word itself flows off the tongue to me at least. Kind of reminds me of an old Aussie show "Ask the Leyland Brothers" about two real life adventurers (which isn't really relevant here unless one considers one's virtual home an adventure?) Besides it's better than a friend of mine who called his home Nowhere. So when I ask where he is and he says nowhere I have to ask "Nowhere in particular or nowhere at your home?" Men are jerks but not really. My house-hunting alt usually names his homes My Place which is a step up from keyboard mashing letters I suppose. Another bonus point for originality. Not. -.-
Maitimo
My houseboat is "Matti's Big Gay Boat". 😁 10
Eowyn Southmoor
Neither of these are my homes, but I thought they are very apt: On the Permaglow region (you know the one that had the nuclear towers and has a lake full of 3-eyed fish): One parcel is called "Green Falls", and another is called "Don't Drink The Water" 😄 4
Sparkle Bunny
i never came up with a good name for the trad, but the houseboat was The Anchoress (a pun on my main's hermit tendencies) and the Victorian is Longbourn, after the Bennet family home in Pride & Prejudice (it's in Bennet, obvs).
Ellie McGregor
I went with a gothic theme in my Victorian and named it accordingly. It is called Villa Diodati. The real life version in Switzerland was were some of the famous gothic horror stories such as Mary Shelly's 'Frankenstein' was spawned. Sometimes I name my home in relation to the name of the region they are situated in. My home in Toads Hollow was themed around 'The Wind in the Willows' and was named Wild Wood Cottage.

I highly recommend his poetry if you haven't read him https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/51296/ithaka-56d22eef917ec (a version in English for you) Lovely poem. When I have a houseboat it is always called after some character from the Odyssey. Usually Poseidon or Calypso. Peony Sweetwater
What a lovely idea for a thread - it’s fascinating to hear what people have chosen. For my camper, I picked the name “Running River” on the sign up page in the hope it might end up near some water...and it worked! I ended up with Lake Tatakaka on one side and a gorgeous little stream on the other, and “Running River” it has remained. My Vic was called “Sweet Paeonia” from the get-go, probably for obvious reasons. I really should plant some peonies...
811Lord
I have no idea how I named the house, it went too quickly. I name it myself for what it is and its address: My SL home: *** 174101 Evard Riverside, North Bellisseria *** ... but I also had the house number on the first day, and since Jul 24 - 2019 always still the same (never changed) Edited March 6, 2020 by 811Lord
Anidusa Carolina
The camper I had was named "The Shelter", and I only have one Premium. So I abandoned the camper, since I am a decorating addict. At the very moment I own a houseboat called "The Breeze".
Kat Shadow
Always October is my gallery parcel, because my art tends to reflect darker & more introspective moods. On the other end of the spectrum, I have... The Wet Kitten, my HB and clearly the party zone.

GinaFreumann
My Trad, Vic & Log were all called Monadnock, cause I grew up near Mount Monadnock so its nostalgic. The camper is called Journeys End, (I thought that would be my final home) but I don't remember what I called the houseboat.

Marisa Starbrook
I’ve consistently called my homes in SL “LuLu’s Sweet Escape,” after Gwen Stefani’s “The Sweet Escape.” The song came out the same year (2006) that I joined SL. With Bellisseria, I shortened it to “Sweet Escape”. My first houseboat was “Dream,” because it was a dream fulfilled to land one. My Vics have been “Dreamwell”. With the arrival of the log homes, I’ve been naming my cabin “Up North” for a nod to my Michigan roots. When I’m spinning the wheel and house hopping, the homes will be called “On the Road Again.”
