Beautiful all stunning  decoration of the homes  we learn from each. Yes using your imagination and meditate on it and vision where you want to go it will lead you to the right direction.

I so agree Vanoralynna!  Every personal vision is inspiring, each in it's own way.  My own is based on fond memories of the year I got to live by the ocean in Monterey, CA.  In a parallel universe I am there still . . . and now in SL too!  Lol  Thank you, everybody involved in it at Linden Lab!

Inside, I only added one wall to break up the downstairs space a bit and lowered the doorways.  I don't care for a lot of rooms and navigating walls/doorways.  Lol  The front room is the living room.  Behind that are various pieces to make the area look nice.  Upstairs, I left it wide open.  Unfortunately, I'm out of LI until my Fennux have their last babies and I can make them pets to keep in inventory.  I'll use that freed up LI to put something on the upstairs deck.  Pretty bare right now.

Busy day. Good day with happily an ah-ha "done" moment at the end. I made an addition that fits outside the French doors. It will be a pottery studio. Somewhere towards the end I figure that this might work on the other two story house also as a "carport" type structure, so made a couple of changes so that it could.

I will have my friend with that house test, and also another friend with one of the small houses. We'll see how versatile it is. I still have windows to make tomorrow. I am planning on multipane partially tip out windows, so kinda fancy.  So far this is 5 li with long LODs and I am very happy with that. Medium gray metal roof :D since it is "A" flat and "B" we don't have matching roof textures LOL.

Cozy.

My home - nice view over a marina and the ocean. Just love and adore this new continent made by Linden Lab.

Bedroom/study with veranda east bound, so I can sit and enjoy the beautiful Second Life sunrises.

THAT is exactly the home I had hoped to find!! Now at least I know what I am looking for! What region is it in? I only saw einther seaview and bare sand garden - or seaview and then a motorway and some rocks between me and the sea - OR the seview was there but my  balcony on the wrong sind. :(

Phew, finally done.  I put up a few curtains, pictures, plants, candles, and my home is finished :)  It is really basic, not up to standards with newer furniture, but it is functional.   No landscaping was performed, as to save as many prims as possible.  So, I have used a total of 32 prim, plus an additional 26 for my kittycats :D  Which leaves me with plenty to create multiple skyboxes, that I can spawn whenever the desire hits..

This is my praise for Blush Bravins Bedroom Bedroom Suite add-on for the Winchester Traditional house.269030044_wbath_006.thumb.jpg.ed5a0442712f7fdf21f94d444c2f68ba.jpg

It is more roomy than you should think. The bathroom furniture fit right in, the wardrobe inserts had to be edited a little bit smaller.

I have only resized the photos. Any mistakes is totally my own, hah.

Caveat: I took out the door scripts and switched them, so the doors open out.

Caveat: I textured the inner walls with Jubran JU Interior Wall Tiles 3D Textures.

Closet: Bazar wardrobe Glam closet, leather purse on luggage stool, both Bazar Traveler, Hanging dress Kalopsia, shelf Vespertine, storage boxes Balaklava, heart and suitcases w monogram from Apple Fall. Linked together 9 LI.

The rolling suitcase is going back in my inventory, it looks great but! It is no less than 7 LI on its own, from Tartessos Arts.

701488955_wbath_005.thumb.jpg.d9c65499d0c76abba383839929fe7cf5.jpg

The bath has tub and toilet from LAQ decor, the decorative table with candles is rezzed from the tub. Caveat: I have added specular to both tub and toilet. I like to mess and edit stuff. The sink, mirror and all on the sink, plus 2 items on the toilet is from Apple Fall.

Since the tub and toilet are a few years old, there was no advanced light in SL. I also edited off some glasses on the toilet and replaced it with Apple Fall decor. (Jar with combs and the tulips)

Curtains Soy, blinds Dutchie, chandelier Fancy Decor, white bathroom stool Vespertine, plants Roiro, pictures over tub Floorplan, mats Mudhoney and Kalopsia.

The items are at least 26 LI, maybe 29. I could not link some. Some things, like the pompom rug, was 2 Li originally, and 1 when sized down.

A 'Victorian' Winchester under construction.

Super creative!!!!  :D.

Important to note that you can't have anything higher than 15 meters (see the covenant and the rules sheet) so you might want to measure the height of your "spire"  -- I would hate to see that disappear. Super cute.

I love it, but that isn't a Winchester house? Because when I click my house, it's a Winchester. (it has a totally different entrance)

It looks like the Continental style, which is what I currently have also.  (I'm going back and forth on trying to decide whether to stay with the style I have, or to switch to the Winchester style.  Such decisions! )

The Winchester win over all the others in popularity. I see Blush' free porch add-on popping up. When I logged in, my neighbor had changed to a Winchester with that one in place. I can cam around my place and see nothing else.

So picking another style makes you look more individual.

It is a Continental and unfortunately it is already 15 meters high :( so likely that cut build can't stay.  But maybe it is SO cute that it can :D.

You're right, it's a Continental. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I fixed the post.

Here is an interior shot.

My add on Pergola Porch is completely mod and easy to mod. I purposely didn't bake shadows on it so that people could do as they like in adapting it to their needs. I've used it with three different models of house and it's fun seeing how you can switch it up to still use it.

And by the way, I adore your little closet .... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!

The angle of the snapshot makes the tower look much higher than it is. It barely passes the peak of the gable. 😉

I had also tried different sizes and locations for this decorative, non-functional architectural element, but none look as authentic as the current configuration, unfortunately.

As is often the case, I didn't think about setting a higher graphics quality until I was almost done taking the pictures...  I decided to stay with the Continental style.  LI goes really fast - I generally have more 'clutter' type stuff, pictures on the walls and more landscaping.  Though it is a big improvement over what could be done with the original linden homes :)

This is what sold me on this style of home - the little landing area at the top of the stairs that was just the right size for a home office:

I had picked up the pergola gift (thanks so much @Blush Bravin ) even though I decided not to use the Winchester house that it was originally built for.  It was mod, so I was able to retrofit it, and added a lower level patio around it. 639408095_20190418PandoraatBellfry_011.thumb.jpg.c87e535d76220b732e0821e3ec70d548.jpg

And I built a prim wall, and inserted a full perm door, frame and script that I already had in inventory, to separate the upper bedroom into a bedroom and a bathroom. (This is one of the most ambitious building projects I have done :) )
