I love how you can change the look or "feel" of an outfit just by changing your hairstyle! : ) Color too, but I don't change that much. Would you know if Akane (by Argrace I believe) is still available somewhere? I checked in their store & didn't see it, then I checked marketplace & they have poses to use with the hair but not the hair itself! Argrace took down all the hair a while back and started kind of from scratch again - but I have seen they bring out the old styles in upgraded versions, so you'll probably hope for that. Going through my gatchas, I actually found somewhat similar to the Akane - Tableau Vivant \\ Summer Hairplay - Sundowner. (except it's mostly red hair) Maybe a few more shoes and few less hairs. If I count pre-mesh shoes and hair it's easily double or more. I've been to Collabor88, and did find a few very nice things there. But it was, if anything, maybe too varied? Finding things I liked required browsing through a whole lot that really didn't interest me. For me, personally (and, of course, someone else might have a different response, based upon their personal interests and expectations), Eclipse was both weirdly too varied, and too narrow. On the one hand, there were a lot of things that were merely grungy rather than really "dark," like a tenement slum. And, on the other, there wasn't a lot for people like me who aren't primarily goth or dark, but just like the aesthetic. I guess, ultimately, the success of events has to be judged by their financial results: is it making money? And, I suppose, by the service it might provide to the community that they are catering to.
