No. But... we can get away with anything if the mods don't notice and no one reports it.

That means some can get away with a lot because no one hates them and others can't because they get reported by their haters. I suppose there are some people that are genuinely offended...

I had one of my pics removed not long ago with a warning. And mine was from the side where you couldn't even see one of my nipples!!! Is this pic allowable because it isn't full nudity? If this pic stays, I will have to make an appeal about mine. Which was nothing more than me standing with a man in a nonsexual way.

Yeah... but you are a trouble maker... 😛

Oh, I don't want it to slip under the radar, personally.

I want the mods to look at it, and be compelled to think -- "This is a topless woman. That's not allowed, even if topless men are."

I want them to acknowledge the inequity, each and every time.

...good luck with that. IMO it is a losing battle with no upside.

Oh, I don't think there needs to be an "upside" to highlighting an inequity, even (as in this case) a pretty trivial one.

The double standard being applied here isn't the mod's, nor is it even LL's -- it's our culture's. And changes to social attitudes are more often wrought by a million gentle pin *****s than by sudden and dramatic revolution.

And to be clear -- although I don't think you were suggesting this -- I didn't AR it. I don't do that, or wouldn't except in the case of something really egregiously hateful, which this obviously isn't. I myself don't personally have much objection to the pic, although I can understand why some might.

ETA: /me rolls her eyes at yet another instance of the censorship of an entirely harmless word. Case in point.

art photography differs from pornography in its artistry and not sexuality, as well as paintings depicting nude, it seems to me so

They do seem to censor the words for male genitalia more so than the words for breasts so a small win?

They are certainly different, but "artistic" nudity and paintings depicting nudity aren't allowed here either.

I have no problem with the picture.  The problem will be who decides what is artistic and what is pornographic.  Can a male and female both be naked in the picture if they aren't touching?  Is this pose porn and this one not.  It becomes very subjective.  Nipples are nipples but of course the ones women have are attached to a sexualized area of the body so they go in the no no section.  Is it right?  Is it fair?  No, not at all.  The ban on full frontal nudity however, should probably remain since everyone will have their opinion as to what is and isn't acceptable.

That's why I like your picture so much. It's very well done and you look great and sexy yet not sexualized.

It's  a shame if it'll get zapped, but thank you for that specific contribution to this thread.
