Part of the problem here is that there is a great deal of inconsistency about what is permitted and what isn't. The absurd thing is that there are pics here that are just replete with sexuality and suggestiveness, even if they don't actually show nipples and other prohibited body bits. So, it's not "sexuality," per se, that's at issue -- it is, literally, women's nipples that are the problem. I don't actually blame the mods -- I'm sure that they didn't come up with this policy, even if they are tasked with enforcing it. And inevitably (and this would be the case even if pics of topless women were permitted) there is going to be a subjective element in involved in determining what violates the rules, and what doesn't. It's too bad we can't do the same here with pictures. Set them at a certain level depending on what's shown. Nipples on women on flickr are moderate. Butts, moderate. Full frontal, restricted. I would be willing to bet anyone that the above picture will be removed - and all quotes of it -- after the weekend when normal moderation happens again.
