@Prokofy Neva You can still fly in no-fly land on the LL viewer. The advice given above only works on Firestorm, so here are the steps for the LL viewer. Obviously you run the risk of getting slapped & land banned if the land owner sees you flying in a no-fly zone, so use at your own risk. Activate the Advanced menu in the top menu bar using CTRL+ALT+V. Advanced -> Show Debug Settings -> Set the debug setting AdminMenu to TRUE Activate the Develop menu in the top menu bar using CTRL+ALT+Q Develop -> Tick "Show Admin Menu". You can now fly in no-fly zones.

Apparently a known issue.

Try working through the instruction to build the Firestorm viewer on Windows: https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_compiling_firestorm_windows The instructions give you a little bit more hand-holding imo. The same build environment will work for building the LL viewer.

You can change the colour locally if you use Firestorm viewer. Preferences -> Colors -> Miscellaneous -> Script dialog F/B (font/background)

(C:\users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife). Login to the viewer, Go to Me> Preferences> Advanced and check 'Show Grid Selection at login', exit the viewer. Run the viewer, select the grid you want from the grid combo box and login. You can modify the above file to add any grid. However the LL viewer will crash on login to any OpenSim grid these days without some major code changes.

While logged in on the 32bit version of Firestorm, in the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Help -> About Firestorm, click the "Copy to clipboard" button & paste all your system information here.

This is a bug on the LL viewer - please see BUG-227179 - All offline inventory offers from scripted objects are STILL lost Until BUG-227179 is fixed, all offline inventory offers from scripted objects will be lost & I'm afraid there is no way to recover the lost offers once you have logged in & got the inventory offer. The only workaround I know of for now is if you see in your email that you have important offline inventory offers sent via a scripted object that you do not want to lose, is to login on Firestorm viewer to accept your offline inventory offers. Firestorm has this bug fixed. After you accepted your inventory offers, you can log out of Firestorm & relog on the LL viewer if you wish. Firestorm download: https://www.firestormviewer.org/os/

Looks like alpha fighting. If you remove the hair does it stop? Just to clarify - does this problem only happen on Black Dragon viewer? Do you see the same problem on the latest release of the LL viewer or Firestorm?

Are you seeing the same FPS drop with the current Linden Lab viewer? Downloads | Second Life Just to clarify - when you first installed the latest FS release, was FPS as expected for your system & suddenly FPS just tanked for no apparent reason on the same viewer version?

Do you have movelock enabled in Firestorm?

I asked one of the Firestorm developers about this problem & they said it was probably a case of FIRE-23299 - Memory bloat in Linux viewer since 5.1.7.55786

I respectfully disagree with this. While some mental illnesses are likely present from birth (nature), others are caused by life events (nurture). There are thousands of academic studies examining nature vs nurture in mental illness.
