A friend asked me to come and help them on their land. An avatar is sitting outside her house, they don't rezz so they're an orange cloud and their avatar name reads (???) (???). We can't eject him as the land is a group rental, they don't talk, they have movelock on it appears. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Using the new firestorm beta and the dice don't rez unless I actually click on them. Everything else is fine, rezzes immediately, having no other issue with SL at all. Anyone having this issue or know what it might be. I've tried dropping draw distance right down, it's not in my asset black list, my connection is great....any help would be appreciated.

I think the best way to make friends is to become part of a community. You could try joining in the conversations on the dance floor at a club that has a good crowd, say like Big Daddy's 80's club and Wet Willies Rock club, both of which are busy 24/7, or by joining a group like the RP groups or now days there are a lot of Motorcycle Clubs in world. These communities can be a little tough to crack, some are harsh on new people but if you stick with it you can usually make a friend or two that will last the distance. It is about putting in a little effort though, having something to say, messaging people in a friendly manner and having a discussion and stuff
