Thinking About Left Imvu ....and More active on SL
iamyourneighbour replied to Antashi's topic in General Discussion Forum
Used to be very active on IMVU with 52 bans. It is probably better now, the former community manager which starts with 'V' ends with 'arsha' was highly biased with bans to cater to this Christian SJW lady (who was 55 years old), I had lolipop mesh that had its promotional picture taken down because it looks like cigarette, and also pictures of cigarette butts is also adult. That was the old administration IMVU had, it is probably better now but I stopped uploading there, the bureaucratic hurdle was too much. As a user I would say SL offers a better experience, LL doesn't fly over your head constantly like a helicopter -
Hm I think the thread is over analyzing a small group, I just like to create cities and play SL like the Sims and watch my L$ grow. One of my tenants live free, male btw, since he has been giving me hit product ideas since very long time ago, I have never met the guy IRL. People have different ambitions and wants in life, the observation may be true to your immediate friend circle of males but other people got wide range of stuff and things they enjoy.

Hostility increase in SL
iamyourneighbour replied to Ivy Mysterious's topic in General Discussion Forum
I don't think they owe you any response tbh just saying Just ask it again til you get a response, if you put that kind of remarks of course people will get angry. They don't have to drop everything and come to help. -

Something a bit more fun
iamyourneighbour replied to chibiusa Ling's topic in General Discussion Forum
1. How do I get more ultimate answers in a humanly possible way? 2. "Mate" (IE 'oi mate u can't just park here aye') 3. Boxing fight with local fauna -
A random person sees light in the sky Somehow concludes it must be extraterrestrials A random item gets flagged by someone Seller somehow concludes it is linden employee flagging it I know you are thinking you are somehow oppressed because you are a furry but the fact is you may need to read listing practice and policy first. Out of all the platforms I came across, Linden Lab is about as open minded as one can expect.

PayPal is different to SL so information is not exchanged. PayPal requires full doc once you passed around $1000 USD worth through it, also some country have moved to make using PayPal impossible or very difficult. Ecuador for example only allow PayPal to be paid out in cheques which half of the time will be lost in mail, Turkey also has restrictions placed on PayPal. I am guessing it has something to do with your local law. Where abouts do you live ?

Does anyone build with prims anymore
iamyourneighbour replied to Molly Rowley's topic in Building and Texturing Forum
Whichever accomplishes the goal more efficiently, if I just need a platform to stand on I don't need to rez a mesh. Prims are great for prototyping but I prefer mesh for finer details and LI optimization. -
This is the Fry version on roids

SL because the currency can be sold into cash and the customers appreciate value. And most important thing , the rules here are the most relaxed, other virtual worlds does not permit the same degree of artistic freedom. Other virtual worlds are kinda useless for a developer, they are just there for you to kill time if there is no commercial activities.

95%+ of my sales come from the workshop. The in world sales are usually a by product of the webpage leads. In world store costs rent, requires manual management, does not have official backed index, the disadvantages simply outweighs benefits for a merchant. Inworld shopping is great for the consumer, but plenty of work for the merchant. There is a lot less management, and you get to drop 1 star if it sucks. Also @LennoxGregor role playing and sexual fetishism groups are always active. SL are mostly used for what's not easily imitated IRL, anime battles or snuff porn, whichever fills your boots but you get the gist.

Trans woman new to SL, hoping to make good friends
iamyourneighbour replied to SiriLve96's topic in Make Friends
If you bring anything RL and SL together to measure you are starting on the very wrong foot. Marth meant it very literally, if you take who people claim's of identity too seriously in SL you are going to be in for a lot of involuntary plot twist.
