  1. Personally I like Jeogeot because the place is pretty empty and you can buy all the land you want
  2. Has anyone actually came across any custom mesher that does not scream total scam? Most of the 'meshers' on forum has a first name plus a few random numbers, has no payment info. I offer them to invoice with real cash for double payment via PayPal they would still decline. Some of them don't even know what .obj files are and their portfolio is made up of low res screenshot on flickr. So when those types ask for payment upfront I don't even bother replying. Is there a group or external forum that has more reliable meshers for hire?
  3. Check spam and filtered emails, because the similarity in context for sales reports, they usually get filtered into junk mail, I had to whitelist them
  4. If you don't need verification it will become a copyright hell. Plus if you aren't making enough to cover the premium then there might not be a need to list those items. The premium after stipend is about $5-7 per year.
  5. I would say about 20% of all talks are of substance. Rest 80% are buzzword fueled intense patting on the back.
  6. Tbh you are not free anywhere lol You want to drive on the roads got to pay registration, you want a functional car you got to pay the mechanics when it breaks, we always live win different degrees of cooperation, if I am truly free I should be free from judgement of law when I go set someone's house on fire. No one and nothing is free from the cooperative constraints. Even the offgrid preppers would have acquired their solar panel from elsewhere instead of mining the materials to forge their own. It is more efficient that way. What you defined as free means you are free "as long as you don't step on the wrong foot".
  7. I was just thinking, since there's already function to de-render an object from your view temporarily or permanently, why not have it as a function that can be applied to an entire parcel? That way if someone is not happy with a neighbour that is not contactable and structures you do not need to interact with in a life time they can just not see anything on the block even newly rezzed items. I mean yes you can circle them all and de-render but this would be a bonus to have for people who were going to go one by one de-rendering anything new that comes up in a nearby parcel, especially if you have an entire sky kart track with a badly made death star floating there.
  8. I know everyone wants to move in as soon as possible, and I make a mistake of assuming there would be no one renting when I last logged on. All three people rented have been given two weeks free plus an offer to a full refund if they wish to cancel.
  9. Added Apologies I live in Australia so the time zone is very skewed
  10. Very aesthetic wall. Trump would approve. Btw, really like the valley like design.
  11. Hi all, I have always used JPEG for SL developments since the size is smaller and in a literal sense would reduce download time, but how about performance considerations? Does PNG / TGA have any advantages over JPEG in SL applications apart from PNG being able to carry alpha configuration?

  13. Short answer Because it shows you have commitment and wont just buy land and let it sit there with your creation abomination for the next five years.
  14. Quitted Farcebook ages back. The fake positivity on Farcebook is ridiculous, I said the city I live in is bad because the crime rate is high and I got a 30 day ban. Didn't mention any religion or race even. Can't even be factual anymore. If your house is on fire remember the correct way to refer to it is 'it is tibit warm'

  19. O I gather you have not visited the proper neighbourhoods of fine culture. Clothing is highly optional in those places and we don't shake hands there. But I am all for you getting your knockers out. If you like I can introduce you to a few.
  20. If you buy this very expensive slurpee you get a free rocket launcher
  21. You need to build a bigger wall
  22. Good idea I like this But I think SL isn't really cut out for it since our supply exceeds demand, where as AirBNB caters to the exceeding demand and lack of supplies in short term housing. I do airBNB myself, insane amount of renters for holiday locations because your price sits between hotels and long term rentals (and they wont get into long term rentals period) But in SL you can teleport so I do not think there's such location exclusivity to be had.

  24. I think they can experiment with vertical limits, maybe to 500 or something to enforce ground use in designated areas. Tbh, I don't think it is that grim, you will always find people come and go, and SL's update particularly extra LI grants was a pleasant surprise since there have been younger services and games that has already come and gone while SL is still going. It might not have been the hot stuff when it first came about but nevertheless is very steady.
