  1. It is better that way I don't like having people buy a 1024 and did nothing except abandoning it 12 month later
  2. Let me tell you about Jeogeot where I own land across four sims. LL thought there would be a lot of Koreans consider they have blazing fast internet. Didn't turn out that way. There are less Koreans on SL than astronauts in space.
  3. Why are people so obsessed with Zindra? Unless you want to run a full on Stepford you don't really need land on Zindra. Half of Jeogeot is still empty, I brought half sim with dual water access for just 1L per sqm at Khinsanth If you are worried about adult stuff, don't. Unless you are really blatantly running a slave market LL won't come over like a hawk.
  4. Not bad, that beats getting dumped in noobland with tons of prims. I think when I tried to get into SL few years ago that kinda held me back, signed up again 2 years ago and seeing good locations instead of ad littered land made me stay. Just my 2 cents, it should have great theme focus with no ad boards.

  6. Try Ana Erotica her shops are low prim and no more than 200L mostly. If you are talking about rental, let me know I have shops for rent at 0.5$L per prim
  7. Don't buy on Zindra, even if you have a full blown sex party weekly the chance of getting LL notice is next to none. Either way. There are plenty ways to get affordable land but people either 1. Can't wait 2. Simply don't know what reasonable price means Even on Jeogeot I have managed to sell 512 m at a whooping 25K from a empty space I parked on sale at exuberant price I would not pay myself. Why someone would pay $100 for 512 is beyond me consider around the area there are vast grassland. Guess they don't know they could simply ask for auction.

  12. Not just mesh heads BENTO CATWA MESH HEADS!
  13. 1. Don't really need to keep it apart, I tell people irl about my visit to Stepford often, it't not my thing but shows how open SL is. Nothing "Hang on, just hear me out" can't fix. Next minute the person would go from thinking SL is crazy to wanting to try it, but then I know they will probably quit because dressing up is like a rocket ship for newbies. 2. Nah I am a terrible human being at both places, I enjoy needless bragging, doubling down when someone finds me agitating, taking chances for the sake of it and talking to total strangers, and I practice wide range of sexual deviancy. I would love to go into full details but I don't think the forum rating would permit. 3. Both are fun, personally I like RL better since that's the end game. 4. Nah 5. Nah for all I know that big chested blondie is probably uncle bob irl. 6. Money of course, sweet L$ convertible immediately to US dollars; the most accepted commodity of the world. 7. Nah
  14. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Khisanth/146/223/27 2 units, flexible prim allowance, 200L$ for 400 LI. Sailable river to the Jeogeot gulf. Areas on land also up for sale!
  15. Fair trade off imo. Kinda annoying as a merchant since you are not allowed to do P2P linden sales. It's really boosting mainland activity beyond imagination, already seen two whole sim auctioned off next to me with proper development by the owners in the past week.
  16. Man or woman, to sum it up, OP takes a very assumptive step in simply thinking it's based on the country of origin. Plus, I would really stick with not being a whimp regardless of gender. If someone don't want to talk to you for whatever reason, just move on. What's so difficult about that concept? Indeed I did not read most of it because the essence of that original post is "Omg someone else is 100% of the problem because x and y, it cant be me!" I mean, are you financially hurt, or has your house burnt down as a result of someone not talking to you on SL? Maybe if you are asking for a refund and the merchant has been away for the last ten years or when tenants bailing on you, but not when you are just in a social situation talking to random people, I could care less if they reply or not. So yeah I would still say, people need to grow up, regardless of gender. Just don't be a whimp!
  17. That's the whole point, OP arrived at the conclusion that they didn't want to talk because of his origin when in fact the source of the problem is likely the way he opened the conversation. Starting by stating your origin is something 12 year old playing FPS do when they get on voice chat.
  18. Where you are come later. I am from Taiwan and I don't see women stop talking to me because of that. I would say talk about more interesting things than "I am from X" or "My name is Jeff" It is not a job interview. And nobody is obligated to be engaged in a conversation , if they don't wanna talk, then don't. You got to have better things to do in life than trying to earn the approval of random people on the net. Talk about something of interest or just don't talk at all My personal recommendation is that you stop caring and stop claiming victimization based on your origin. Even if they don't talk to you because you are from Thailand so what? Just move on and don't be a whimp. Also, try talking to males, just kick it off by saying "Hi I am from X", I bet you the response will be either silence or "Ok", because there is no context. No context = no chat material. Women usually go silent instead of telling you that you are boring out of nicety. Look at people's interest, even just their profile pic will give away some insight into how you would open the conversation. How do you know if they don't talk to you because of your origin, or you simply arrive at that conclusion by yourself ? The issue with people now is that they look for people to blame when something go wrong instead of reflect at what can be improved at personal level.
