So - as well as colours - we can now also expect the same outfit listed separately for different mesh bodies. Colours x mesh bodies - yikes!!

Cannot see certain avatars in Singularity
Emma Krokus replied to KarraSue's topic in General Second Life Tech Discussion
I have been using the PC Alpha build 6937 for Singularity for the last 6 - 7 months and had very stable performance. This allows me to see all the meshes and is Bento enabled. Unfortunately, the MAC version of Singularity hasn't been updated for a while. -
Can a script tell if an object has been moved via "build"?

So much fun! -
I got in too! Performance seems ok... was able to cross sims, build, pathcut, teleport... good luck everyone!

SL still performs like a SNAIL.
Emma Krokus replied to Ashor Rush's topic in General Second Life Tech Discussion
i used to have that card... and it was pretty good! my fps used to be around 25 - 30 on average (less of course in very crowded places) - what are yours? for the last year ive been on a GTX 960 - and getting great performance (my full specs: Operating System Windows 10Processor Brand IntelProcessor Type Core i5Processor Speed 3.20 GHzProcessor Count 4RAM Size 8 GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAMComputer Memory Type DDR SDRAMHard Drive Size 1 TBHard Disk Technology HDD 5400 rpmHard Drive Interface ATAGraphics Card Description NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB DDR5 Graphics CardHDMIUSB3.0120GB SSD24x DVDRW Drive500W PSU) ETA: i mostly use the current alpha build of the BENTO enabled singularity viewer (cos i like the V1 interface) - and occasionally the official SL viewer -
What did your avatar look like when you first started SL?
Emma Krokus replied to Vin Soulstar's topic in Your Avatar
I'm delighted - and I agree. (Have been a member of her group for years and got the new goodies - YAY.) I wear a bunch of her stuff to transform my ancient freebie skin when the mood takes me - it's amazing how much difference a simple tattoo layer can make. And you can wear... up to 6? ...Is that right? Change eyebrows, eye shadow, lipstick, blusher, add freckles, dimples - all at once! (Weird thing is, I don't bother with make-up in rl, but here in Second Life - OMG - I am all girl.) -

Fabulous thread - I am enjoying looking at all your photos. An early shot of me - have worn this freebie Eloh Eliot skin since early 2009 (I started in SL on 28th November 2008). This was taken with one of those facelights! Me today - same skin but with extra Lumae :: eyelashes, eyebrows from [Mock], trying out the TMP body right now, CalWL windlight for this one.- 133 replies

Forum Signature: how do I made the http: part invisible?
Emma Krokus replied to Emma Krokus's topic in Forums Feedback
Thank you very much, Bent. Emma -
I must be weird... I love Second Life - and I am nearly 9 (maybe that's my mental age too!). One of my first warm and fuzzies is the SL sunise and sunset... and I still enjoy it. And OMG - SL water... These are closely followed by taking things apart (thanks creators that allow modify) - and dropping random scripts in things to see what happens.... Which I sort of still do... maybe with a bit more knowledge now.

Thank you Chic & sorry for the late reply, for some reason I was not getting emails when someone replies on this topic. -
If you are using internet explorer, maybe Edge, to browse the marketplace, this may be the reason. I had the same problem and changed my browser to Opera, although I think other browsers also work without problem.
