    It's been a minute since I've had the time to take a selfie, let alone share it with the rest of you all! How has this side of the forums been? This photo was taken last night at one of the events at the Wedding/Events company that I work with. I promise I was still talking photos of the guests, though. Full Size

    Landscaping is far more than “rezzing things on land” if you want it to look like any semblance of anything respectable. Otherwise you’re going to get somebody who dumps things on your sim and call it done. I didn’t offer my services because I recall spending hours making suggestions to you to be helpful and you either didn’t learn anything or aren’t willing to learn. I am sure somebody somewhere will assist you out of desperation, but please understand that you are paying for a service. Some of us use our skills as a landscaper for the hobby, but we also have SL bills to pay. Good luck.

    Depending on what you're doing that you don't want to be seen, you could rent a parcel of land from a company that gives you permission to set privacy. This way you can set it so that only you can enter, and so that nobody can see or hear your avatar, or if you were to be on voice. That being said, if you're rezzing things out, this will not work. You COULD, in that instance, perhaps consider getting a skybox and set it in the air.

    Honestly, people are really weird and there are a group of people in SL who log in to fullfill certain “desires” that they might not fill out in the REAL world, if you get my drift. I’ve straight up been told by men (male avatars, anyway) that they’d be “thinking of me all night” and at this point in my SL if it gets to any place I’m uncomfortable with, I call them out on it. You don’t have to tell anyone jack diddly. Also, my breasts are nicknamed “Bonnie” and “Clyde.”

    I don’t really mind if you say “In game” myself. For Family furniture, check places like Chez Moi, Boogers, and Muddpuddles. I know I’m forgetting some, but I’m so sleepy.

    Botanical, Heart, [We’re Closed], Fanatik, and Little Branch are all good places to start. For whispy trees, look at Alirium or Happy Mood.

    You might get a better response if you request this to be moved to the “Wanted” section. That being said, it’s likely that this is a pre-mesh Truth hair, which is what many furries used in the “old” days.

    Claire, your big problem is that you’ve been commenting on every single post from 2009, claiming that you can do it all, regardless as to what the posting is and what is involved. If you see a job that you are qualified for, or one that would take minimal training, you need to read the post and follow directions, which often means messaging the poster in-world. Many jobs posted beyond a month are no longer applicable.

    IF you really wanted the look, you could technically landscape above water levels and fill in the empty spaces with phantom water prims.. but then you run across the issue of the lines and such that come with faces, so it wouldn’t look nearly as fun. Or simply texture your windows with water textures and change the opacity. on the plus side, you cannot drown in SL unless you try REALLY hard.

    Is she wearing the genesis-lab omega hud and the skin applier hud while clicking the makeup applier hud while trying to apply? Is the makeup/hairbase that your friend purchased meant to be used on a head, and is omega compatible?

    @Hunter Fischer - what do we do if it doesn't send the HUD? My SL daughter (Yami.Solo) isn't receiving hers.

    Nora has blue eyes, and my alt has pale purple eyes, although don’t ask me why.

    I stay crazy busy (ironically I’m a wedding photographer in SL) but you sound like so much fun! My three year old and I would love to have a friend or two come explore sims with us! We love exploring amusement parks together and taking photos and such. I’m not familiar with K-pop but I’m digging everything else!

    Hey, Rosalyn! Welcome to Secondlife! For the most part, people are pretty helpful here on the forums. If you ever have any questions and want to meet up in SL, just shoot me an IM! I started in SL about 11 years ago, back when things weren’t as complicated and I was lucky enough to stumble on a group of people who got me started and REALLY made SL more enjoyable for me, and I love to return that favor whenever I can.

    Right click - edit - select face. Select the side of the wall that you want to disappear. Turn transparency to 100.

    Believe it or not, you actually don't HAVE to have a paying account.. If LL is upsetting you that much, perhaps constructive criticism instead of throwing your breakfast all over the forums and trotting from the dinner table. Not that they read this area of the forums, but it's a thought!
