  1. It doesn't work so well for the Jake either. My neck thickness slider is already over 25: Increasing the number looks okay from the side: But when you view it from the front: The neck breaks when you push the slider past 50. >_< This will be an issue for some guys who want a 17" or thicker neck. This poor alt will have to live with the pencil-neck syndrome until who knows when it'll be addressed.
  2. Same here. I wanted to get the Jake for Greg but I couldn't get past the ridge either. It may be okay for an alt, but it won't pass the muster with him.
  3. New head and skin to go with the new Jake body. These dang alts continue to rob me blind.
  4. I see @s2Pandora already answered this one. I just noticed the button also changes to 'mask' between the other options. I haven't figured out the difference between mask and blend though.
  5. I was disappointed at first when the update didn't appear to have alpha layer compatibility. It took me a while to find the solution for it. In case if anyone's wondering about enabling alpha layers, go to the skin tab and click on the Blend button located next to the BoM button:
  6. Someone could recreate the somersault for the walk animation. It'll be a hoot.
  7. A HOA is an organization of property owners in a particular area that collectively agree on a set of rules to govern how their neighborhood is lived in and maintained with basic ideas of keeping property values high. This is mainly achieved by restricting actions from residents making eyesores such as leaving broken-down cars in yards and letting overgrown grass surpass the height limit. HOA common rules are put in place to ensure the residences and common spaces conform to the neighborhood's "theme". HOAs are usually run by committee, usually by a board comprised of member homeowners who are often selected by popular vote. There are some HOAs that are more laid-back and don't care about the color of your roses as long as you don't do anything dangerous. At the other end of extreme there are power tripping wankers who won't stop at nothing to make their neighbors' lives miserable, and the nightmarish tales you hear about these crazier types usually ends up reaching national news. Living in Bellisseria or a private estate comes with some communal obligations residents must abide by. I think the security orb time limit and skybox height restrictions for Bellisseria are fairly reasonable.
  8. No. Leave Mainland alone. Mainland is meant for those who want to utilize their unfettered imaginations to make their SL any way they wish without restrictions. If it means they have every right to put up poorly textured builds and ban lines, so be it. Bellissaria and private estates are plenty enough for those who want parcels in move-in condition and HOA style covenants.
  9. Thanks. Looks like an interesting game. I find it amusing to see the characters doing somersaults to get around instead of walking.
  10. They screeched about lucky chairs being in the same class of gambling. They caterwauled about how KittyCats and other breedables are teh debil. They're now grasping at straws at this point with comparing make-believe slave auctions with gachas. Gacha deprivement syndrome is a crazy thing to witness.
  11. It's completely mesmerizing; I like this a lot. This was all show inworld? Most machinima I've seen are flat and meh. Your video blows all of them out of the water.
  12. What's this?! Do I really have candy pink in my inventory? \o/
  13. It sounds like Wrong. https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dreamworld Reef/111/18/28 Maybe?
  14. That place is a maze. They put the body skins in its own wing now: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Clef de Peau/140/81/24 Set landing points are so annoying, so yeah, follow the beacon.
  15. A friend and I resting on the store bench after a long day of shoe shopping. We were pleased to find a store still making Slink shoes for men.
  16. Happy Weekend sale at Nutmeg. Cupboard + painted, 3li, Cupboard Filled + painted, 5li https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/REKA NUTMEG/208/122/22
  17. Today's peeve 1: Demo rings and text stamps should be sufficient enough, but a 3-minute demo is not enough time to figure out which pants will work with the shirt I thought about buying. Forget this. Today's peeve 2: Creators who are stuck in the Stone Age with appliers. BoM? What's that?
  18. A legacy name is an old school SL name, meaning an avatar has a first name and a surname.
