I have yet to see any significant increase in travelers across Belli, that could be linked to GTFO. I can also not recall any complains about a negative impact, here or inworld. But if thats still the case, then GTFO hasn't negativly impacted Bellis apperance, as its not coming to Belli, but is already there. I'm not quite sure what kind of clutter or obnoxious buildings you have in mind. Anything that goes against the covenant of Belli can be ARd, then the Lindens decide if its a violation or just a matter of taste. Allowing GTFO in Belli has no impact on this matter. And this won't change... unless they actually want to visit your parcel. People playing the game will go only to other players homes, not wander randomly into other peoples homes. If you are worried, there are security tools. Its not. Where do you see the commerical aspect in playing a game?

I've never been there. Can someone quickly explain what this place was about?

I joined the forums a year after I joined SL. So I've been here for about nine years. During this time I have seen people come and go. I'm not going to lie, I often only recognize that former regulars are gone for good, when one of the very old threads gets dug up and I scroll through the it and see who was participating in 2012 or so. The forums never were a final destination. They are more like a train station, where people spend some time and then take a train. Some return every day, some never do. Being here constantly for nine years probably makes me one of the train stations pidgeons. This perspective makes it less sad, when good people leave, but also less annoying when bad people arrive. In 3+ years, you got a new batch. I think the only times, where I was sad someone left, where in two other SL forums. Both times it were really pleasant people dying way too soon in RL.

I got a perfect houseboat last week. Neighbour only to one side. A walkway inbetween us. Deep water and a view into the ocean with a lighthouse in the distance (if I push my draw distance up). It took me multiple days of hours of searching and keeping an eye on the forum. Its easier, when you want a Trad, camper or Victorian. I had some of those inbetween to see if they suit me, but I need my water. Anyone who is at home or has a boring, unsupervised job is probably at an advantage in scoring a Belli home fast.

I'm not taunting you. I'm just saying how it is. Its pretty obvious why you are here. You said it yourself once: You are a quiet little mouse in RL. You come here to literally play the dragon. I can't count how often you have to mention what a dangerous, mighty dragon you are. I think nobody else here refers that often to their SL avatar as you do. You enjoy this space, where you can act like that, without consequences. I bet there is a lot of frustration behind that. But because its all an act and you aren't really the no fs given dragon you want to be, you lash out at any chance you get. You may think that suits your role, but actually it lets anyone who pays somewhat attention to the forum take a peak behind your charade. In some way, this is quite sad and in other circumstances worthy of empathy and support... but not when your copying mechanism is trying to be the biggest insufferable butt in the forum.

Same. I always considered Signature (at least with their Gianni body) to be one of the typical body brands. I have dropped using Geralt (even if I really loved that one), but wow...just dropping the entire brand is quite a step.

Looks like Amina was right about the fragile ego. You may want to put some bubble wrap around it, inflated ones seem to be especially prone to instability.

I own one bath tub from them and a few group gifts. Luckily, Nutmeg is not my style (I drift in a more modern direction). And I think there are a lot of options for Victorian fitting furniture out there. I just saw, that even a store like Kraftwork has some. Came to check if they had desks, found a beautiful sofa along a bookcase and other furniture that would fit nicely.

Such a place would probably be at least more popular than mainland. The only thing that be interesting to see is, how big of a workload it would be for LL to keep people in line.

The Linden Homes are actually not substracting any prims from your land. The ressources you have allign with the parcel size you have. 351 is normal for 1024.

The page shows what kind of houses are currently free. If no houseboats get abandoned, no houseboats will show. I believe houseboats are the one kind of home where high demand meets a much lower number of existing houses. But you are in the right place.

I don't really get the recent reactions in this thread. People were told in the other thread to move their stuff out of it and thats what they did. Now the people that wanted this sentiment to be moved out of the other thread, because they were upset by it, are coming to this thread to further argue.

@Marianne Little Would you mind sharing where you got those cacti from? I love collecting plants.
