"$11 cash value a month!" on 650L?

Bruh, do you look at the amount $11 actually gets you? $2,651!

How dishonest can you be?

The math still doesn't add up.

$11 gets you $2,651L, not 650L a month.

If it was based on actual value, you'd get $2,651 a month.  That'd be accurate, but Linden Labs right now is anything but accurate.

I don't think you're getting it, heh.

Yeah? So?

Are you here to actually have input or are you just here misinterpreting me on purpose to troll? Which is it?

I think the other posters were trying to clear up your confusion. They also cleared up mine, since I had no idea what you were getting on about.

The only difference between math and maths is where they’re used. Math is the preferred term in the United States and Canada. Maths is the preferred term in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and other English-speaking places.

Kind of like Sport and Sports, but in reverse.

I enjoy using "maths" lately because it sounds so silly in my head!

Um. You left out a step. You forgot to multiply the weekly stipend by 4, the number of weeks in a month. They're paying the stipend weekly rather than monthly. Thus, you get 650 x 4 = 2600. So yeah, you are getting $11USD worth of Ls per month, just not in the lump sum of 2600 once a month. Instead you get the 650 every week!

@LordHappycat: You are confusing "weeks" with "months". As several people have quite correctly pointed out. Here, I'll do the math for you again....

$L650/week  x 52 weeks per year = $L 33,800 per year.

$L 33,800 / 12 months per year = $L 2,817 per month.

At an exchange rate of $L 240 per $ 1.00 USD, $L 2,817 / 240 = $11.74, before fees. After fees are taken out, the value is indeed about $11.00 USD PER MONTH.
