    Yeah, listen to Ayashe for beards and hair, my boys never sport facial hair 99% of the time so that's a bit of a blindspot for me.

    I tend to make "strange"-ish avs, I could easily age a couple of my current ones to something approaching that, I think. I think the key mostly is contouring and details. None of the base skins I've used here looked remotely close to what I wanted, so I went and hunted for BOM layers. I can go a bit in-depth, if you'd like, but that's the short version.

    A couple Delights; It's winter! Its cold! Those two things aren't mutually exclusive down here, so when it happens, it's great. It's finally cooled down; and it's perfect to snuggle under a giant blanket. You wont sweat to death finally. People are nice! I got a lovely compliment in an RP sim just yesterday; "I love how you make your characters not conventionally attractive. They seem like real people." THAT'S SO SWEET! I was so grateful, I gushed to them, we chatted, it was so nice for someone to see my style of making avatars and go "Hey, cool!"

    Didn't figure it was after I poked around. Thanks for the confirmation. Wish human head creators would just allow mod permissions like everyone else.

    Prefacing with I might just be dumb. Is there a slider, or like a tab on the HUD for adjusting the base head transparency? Like, just the real head, not any HD onion skins. Not using an alpha layer, just raw mesh transparency. Ideally changing alpha types as well. I've flipped through the HUD a thousand times and I'm just not seeing anything that says something similar.

    Yep. Same neck of the woods. It's the exact same thing. Surprised its not widespread, but y'know. Probably good for the world's cholesterol that it isn't.

    Updating my dear Nettle some more; a few more skin details and some new glasses. Minor shape tweaks too. Then something bothers me. He reminds me of someone now. I thought about it for hours. Then I finally realize-- IT'S THE GUY FROM ATLANTIS. ENTIRELY ON ACCIDENT.

    Oh my god, you put my hugest peeve into words. I HATE that so much. No, I won't drudge to your mainstore when you could've slapped that on the MP with zero effort. Why?!

    Unfortunately so! Was a nice woman and all, approached me as I was fiddling in a sandbox, and we got to chatting. And then so on and so forth, I'm jettisoned into a sim decorated like a kindergarten with a horse who thinks he's a cow. Thankfully, I don't have the uh.. "equipment" for neutering, but the thought terrifies me all the same. I guess being spayed is even worse! I mean, I wouldn't mind a place on that sled team, at least they get fame.
