Also from Merak for The Saturday Sale (L$75 each set) are items that I think will work well with Newbrookes.  The desk set is around 10LI without a chair and the bench/wall set is around 21LI.  I enjoyed playing an ASMR room of cool jazz on the big monitor in the desk set while I was at the store.

Hi, just wanted to say thanks everyone for all the tips to sales I keep reading week after week and wanted to add my little grain of sand. I just bought from Broken Arrow , this lovely chair (the one on the right), just 3L. I thought it came with hud for the colour of the chair but it does not, only in fatpacks. Fortunately even though it says its no modify, it is in fact, you can select individual pieces of the chair and change the colour in the Texture Tab to recolour them. I was able to make a green version with a bright pink towel and a green version with purple towel. If you want more pastel colours I would suggest getting the white chair with cream colored towel.

Kazza continues with its ByTheSea kitchen sales: this weekend it's the 9 LI PG and A fridges, which include this floorsweeping animation among others. (The fridge itself doesn't open.) $60. And the 4 LI palmpot is also on sale for $60. Edit: the 10 LI drinks cabinet is also on sale for $60.

I appear to have gone slightly bonkers in this week's sales. Highlights not already posted:

Violetility-1.jpg

L$50 at Violetility, 3li, perfect for stilts

Zerkalo-3.jpg

The bed is primmy at 21li, but I figure I would be using this in a 512-on-1024 Newbrooke or Sakura without too much else in the way of clutter?

Atelier-Burgundy-1.jpg

Atelier Burgundy have more bargain stuff for bebes! These are L$75 a pop, along with decor toys for Happy Weekend and a couple of other L$75 nursery decor bits about. I'm pleasantly surprised Zooby are letting them do this.

ad-vw-thirties-kitchen-iron-deco.png?w=2

Velvet Whip for 35L Sunday. Not animated, but if you picked up the cream version in previous sales you can transfer the anims over from that. I just set this up this in my art deco skybox, but it could also be handy for campers.

1/2 off sale at Dust Bunny:

An excellent opportunity to buy the Consignment/Dust Bunny Kitchens at half price - the one-cabinet-color versions are $L700 for the Rosemary and $L600 for the Shirley (after rebate of half the cost)

At the other end of the affordable spectrum is the new North Oak Kitchen at Kustom9. By the tie you add in the upper cabinets and refrigerator, you're looking around $L1700 for either the light or dark wood version (in all fairness that does include multiple drawer pull styles and several tones of wood each).

H and G prizes on the current Enchantment Hunt.  Warning several issues on this hunt including the "disappearance" of the starting point and incorrect links.  Many of the prizes are so far away they might as well be in the next sim LOL.  But if you are a Tim Burton fan it is likely worthwhile.

tea and bust from Tirrany Designs.  Lamp from free bird.

Also a nice texture change choker from  bubble.

Out for 25Tuesday -- at Oyi which I had never heard of.  No demo and horrid LODs on some small parts. Big parts not great either but happily this will still work for what I bought it for :D which. is inside a building for SL19B.  One sit animation but it is mod (obviously as I deleted those pesky horrid parts) so you could add your own sits if needed.

The vendor is on the wall under EVENTS.  No demo of course but took a chance at 25.  This could work as fantasy or Sakura -- or steampunk after I get done with it LOL.

Edit: In the end I went with something else. :D.  Oh well.

I'm trying to pull together a list of Asian-themed home & garden stores (main requirements are  that they at least have some fairly recent creations that are mesh and I wouldn't be ashamed to have their products in my Linden Home). Note that this a list of stores that focus on Asian-style furnishings not stores that have some Asian decor as part of their diverse collections.

So far:
Soy: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Soy/115/204/2497
Taikou http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Taikou/130/142/47 (this is their newer SLURL - they are no longer in the urban setting which is where SL search will take you)
Tsunami (aka TC):  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Southern Marvel/85/208/24 (mostly outdoor, they have a lot of ponds/pools/fountains

Please let us all know if you have others to add to the list!

If anyone has been trying to find Careless- this is the same creator :). All the things that were group gifts and the things that were 10L each are here free. Even if your inventory is packed, check out the plants, rugs, (and beach themed things if you have a stilt).

I love this store, sigh. But maybe I buy a wash line from Dust Bunny, now that it's a sale. It is much the same style.

Dust Bunny can be very heavy too so check those triangles if you care. I bought a new clothesline last year from anc.   My blog post talks about very good LODs but still "primmy" but NOT heavy mesh.  It is simpler but better for folks with a less than new and stellar computer.

I WILL say that the heavy version in question has much better LODs than in the past.  There IS a lot going on there but unless I had a perfect place to show it off (and I may some day) that half a million number is in general too high for me. Remember this is RENDER mesh not GAME mesh. The one below is GAME mesh LOL. Damn virtual life is complex.

Wow, thanks for the extensive list! I'll have some fun going through these locations. I think your link for Taikou may be the old one 🙂.

Here's what I've discovered so far:

Marushin - a lot of novelty items on the first floor, more home and garden items in the basement.  Didn't pick up anything, but notably they have the first "small" hot spring I've seen (they call it a "Rock Pool"). It's $L600 so I didn't buy it yet, only 9 to 10 LI.

Soul Mates - small to mid size store with decent selection of mostly traditional-style Japanese and Asian home furnishings.

*Naminoke* - @Rufferta said beware the teleport and I agree. This is a store with like 30+ little rooms and a teleport that Sailor Moon would love. Didn't find anything to purchase but saw some nice plants.

Maru Kado - if you don't see the home furnishings section at first, look around, it's kind of around a corner from the landing point. Be on the lookout for the $L0 plain Tatami rugs with color edging. Some cute plants.

Kiyomizu Shopping Mall  - Mostly clothing and accessories. At Chau I found some bright floral Tatami style rugs for $L20.

Kumagami - focus on novelty and business decor/items.

*SU-SHI* City - not a lot of items but some really cute ones, umbrellas, lights, rolled fabrics, etc And just about everything is $L10. Next door is Make a Mark that you may be familiar with from events - they have mostly builds.
