Continuing toward the living space is the bathroom/kitchen build out. I really wanted a traditional Japanese bath. bath2.thumb.png.17d167e45686bacfaa0f2f8159c3254c.png

The newly constructed bathroom wall provided the perfect spot for my small but functional kitchen space.

Access to the backyard is only steps away.

And your tour is over. Let me walk you back to the front door and the best view of all.

I love this theme!

So good Blush. I wish I had your skills.
Don't you do add-ons for Linden Homes? Would love some tips if possible?

Thank you! I just checked the pewpew store and they do indeed have the set, 25 LI if anyone is interested. I believe the entire set is around 800L. no eating animations and not a lot of sits but it works for me!

Linking everything on top of the table to the table drops the LI by 4.

I am still fiddling around with the exterior of my Sakura home.  I am so in awe of the talented folks on these forums that I hesitate to show my humble efforts but maybe I am learning to mod and decorate a bit better than I used to, LOL.  Here is my plot for today:

Very creative work with your steps, Leora!

I was looking for a little inspiration to get me going decorating, and now lol I feel inadequate, you guys!  Mercedes, Hedy, Blush ... so many of you have SUCH skills.  Do you find that your RL decorating skills have been enhanced by the practice you get in SL?  House after house?

Myself, I walk around my SL neighborhood, and I want to post pics of OTHER people's houses!

The Faraday house if my favorite in the Newbrooke theme; decided I would give another Newbrooke model and try and chose the Aldridge. Here is my remodeled version: concrete exterior walls and black metal - flat edged trim. I've admired seeing other residence with the front gardens at their home and this model gives a good spot for a mixed flower garden.

My first Sakura home is the Renge.  I got a beautiful spot on my very first roll.  I love this theme and can't wait to try other models with some of the great ideas I am getting from this thread.

If you would like to take a balloon ride around Bellisseria to see its beauty, I have placed two (currently rainbow-themed for Pride Month) balloon rezzers for your enjoyment.  The balloon rezzers are in the Newbrooke regions at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Judge Knott/249/151/22  and in the Sakura regions at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Aoi Hanabatake/29/118/21  You will receive start/stop instructions in local chat; use your directional and up/down keys to control the ride.  Thanks to Quartz Mole for the script!

Sakura is my favourite theme so far and I had lots of fun decorating and landscaping my new parcel. After looking at all the houses, I decided to go with Benibara, due to it's smaller size, which leaves a lot of space for a garden. I was lucky enough to get an abandon with an amazing location on a lake and it looks that I'll stay there for a long time.

I wanted to incorporate many japanese elements in the decoration of the interior, but then ended up with something that had nothing to do with my initial plans.......

I've finished my second Sakura home and I just have to say I'm really loving this theme.  This time I tackled the Himawari which is a very large house.  Especially when you think its made for a 512.  I made an interior wallpaper shell, a patio pond add-on fences and some other items.

Hope I am not boring you all with so many pictures.

Feel free to come by.  My doors are always unlocked.

Your landscaping and interior design are just stunning but, also, your photos themselves are truly beautiful!  Folks more experienced in SL photography would probably know exactly how you took these; maybe some day I will too, LOL.  Lovely, lovely work!

Thank you, Leora.  For photographs I use either Nam's Optimal skin and prims or Windlight sky.  Either one makes them good a bright but windlight destroys the sky in my opinion.  For interior shots sometimes I have to temp derender walls or whatever is in the way.
