It never ceases to amaze me, how ppl can decorate an entire home AND stilll have enough prims left to rez a (what looks like a pretty complex) boat. Or are these wearables somehow?

Not wearable boat but a rezzable vehicle. It's not very complex, it is 26 LI.
I still had 30 LI free in my parcel and thus I was able to rez the boat on the parcel.

Nice - Who's kitchen is it and how many LI?

Cheeky Pea Tilly Kitchen - they had a sale. I am not sure if it's still on. Edited a lot. Took off parts, the freestanding island is pushed in so it's an U - kitchen. The countertops was so heavy shaded that I put on another texture.

It is maybe 8 LI for the kitchen itself, not the clutter and chairs.

I'm amazed at everyone's creativity and ingenuity in making such stunningly beautiful homes!  Everyone has been so inspiring and generous with your time, ideas and guidance for the rest of us!  I've learned so much about LI, shopping for quality, modifying et al... my poor brain is full!  Here's some pics of our progress using a LOT of your ideas ....

I've got everything just the way I want it now in the Barnacle. So guess it's time to try a different one. :P

That looks just gorgeous!  I was wondering if you save everything somehow one you've got it just right?  Is there a way to save your whole project so you can go back to this once you change to a different model and then decide you want to go back to this one to live in for a while?

Honestly, I never save them. The fun of it is placing everything and choosing what I think will be the best thing for that one particular spot. Actually living in it once I'm done isn't the fun part so there's no reason for me to save it. I do of course save the actual structure I make for the home though. But as for the deco items .. nah .. I don't save that.

But, yes, you can save it if you use a rez system. I use the free one from Casper.

Wow!  You do such a professional job!  Maybe you could make or sell kits?  Like layout helpers?  Make a plywood prim 'furniture' and place it with the instructions, lol?  Truly I'm so impressed!  I guess I'm one of "Those who can't, but wish they could", lol

I am still amazed by the light in Belliseria.

I keep meaning to get by there and raid, ermmm...  have a closer look at that little garden on the upper deck.  Let me know when you won't be home, ok?  😉

Hey it's a party boat .. all are welcome. You can partake of the plant and the hot tub same time. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Le Prince/78/52/22

I do have a security system set up but it's not armed currently.

Even with measuring and previewing in world, I went through a few kitchen sets before settling on this one. Now on to the top deck with about 90 LI to spare.

And a couple surfboards to at least acknowledge the waterfront setting

I love to come here every so often and take a gander at all the amazing design work done on the little treasures we call "home".  I am currently working on the Windlass version of the houseboats.  Blush, you're houseboat is simply divine! Marianne, I love that little kitchen and will have to snap that up for a future project.  Cicely love your work on your WIndlass :)  Keep up the great work!

^^ Haha! I sooo recognize that! :) I've made the most amazing scenes (ahem), that I'm really proud of; but then, when it's done, well, it's just done. The thrill (for me) is in the creative (dare I even say it, artistic) process of building, not the living per se.

I am constantly blown away by how you can look at some sort of empty shell and figure out how to divide it out into not just separate living areas, but often separate physical rooms.

It hasn't been easy. I've been forced into the attic... and I long ago discovered that Maddy doesn't like being called an empty shell.

Thank you :) the front of the house and telescope are showing what my everyday normal setting are. The others I would set the shot up, switch settings and suddenly plummet to 1 - 2 fps. Can't wait to build my tower and be done with this laptop lol

Love that yard especially- the walk lights & telescope are a cute idea!

Thank you :) the walk lights are actually the same string lights hanging in the breakfast room. I had them hanging on the pergola and wanted to try something different. Creative linking brought the Li for the path lights to 4 Li total.
