My partner and I have same teleport issues since last week too. Reminds me of the similar issue from 3 years ago, when it just started randomly and ended just as randomly after a few months. It weren't fun few months, though. This one https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-20201

If TP fails the next login sometimes (not all that often, I'd say 1/10 or so) is also a mess. First it shows a window saying about avatar not being in region, then when it lets me to login it doesn't seem to fully connect to the grid, clothing is "downloading" and I see the "buy land" icon even on protected land. Unlike 3 years ago I always see my L$ balance properly, though. If that happens, then the relog always fixes all issues.

Me too. Occasionally ultra slow before crashing. Sometimes the first tp after logging on.

I'm also still seeing problems in MP where I sometimes get 'page not found' when trying to buy, and stuff drops out of my basket for no reason. It can all be managed but it's way less reliable than when I started here.

Do I get a badge to sew on my sleeve?

Like errr,   "managing bad shopping experiences"?  9_9

I must admit I'm spending less in MP because of this, and it's a pain in the butt having to transfer money to my alts and send them shopping in world, or sometimes on MP...…..

I just tried getting on and wasn't able to TP home or get the sim i was in to  load  properly going to try to relog.

Ok the second try worked better.

sometimes it recovers instead of crashes - keeps me in old region tells me "teleports are currently blocked" and finally teleports me after 3 to 5 seconds

I've been getting similar on the odd occasion for the past few days. Including as recently as this morning (about 12 hours ago). The teleport bar will stop at about 10% and if I stop it there and hit Cancel it will take me back to where I was, then complete the teleport (with no loading screen) a few seconds later.  If I leave it too long, it will log me out.

I use Firestorm and have clicked the "Always show the Teleport cancel button".  Lately - a few weeks or so - I have been experiencing lots of these random TP stalls -- a few every day.  The progress bar goes a teeny tiny bit and then stalls.  I then hit the Cancel button and redo the TP.  It almost always tells me that the TP is blocked, but then immediately puts wherever I was trying to get to.  A few times, it left me where I was, and once I crashed out from it.

@Whirly Fizzle I don't have a screenshot (was in a video call at that time too), I vaguely noticed the "Blocked" message saw, saw the TP was stalling and hit Cancel, and it plopped me into the spot I was TPing to oddly enough. I dismissed it as a case of miscommunication and rarely used notification of the viewer. a strange rubber banding handoff in effect. I remember years ago having to detach things before TPing. but this certainly wasn't that.

Yes, I had that "blocked" message a few times Whirly. Weird as one time I clicked closed and then the destination region snapped into view.

Other times it just hangs a little way into the progress screen.

If you cancel then everyone in the old region dissapears, and you have to restart.

Restarting causes the "agent is not in region" error and needs 2 or three restarts more.

A typical failure:

Nope.  I've been in all evening and have had no trouble teleporting. Try :

It's been failing for about a week, but quite a bit worse today. Around 50% of teleports are failing now :(

Maybe this explains?

PS: It sucks to be among "certain users" every time. Dear @Linden Lab please make sure the random problem generator hits someone else next time.

Yep, sadly I am one of those users. All my alts are affected.

But I know can to fall back to the old logout and restart in the desired region method I've used for 13 years when it happens.

This is SL :) If it's not shoes and hair in your Hintern, then it's a TP fail :D

Was it this? (blocked_tport notification)

I think that is it -- I'll verify the next time it happens.  It only happens when I cancel what appears to be a stalled TP and then immediately do the TP again.  As I mentioned, when I close the message box, I end up actually getting deposited where I was trying to go - most of the time anyway.
