Choosing colors on clothing demos has made me realize that I like shades of blue, yellow and brown. In housing, I go to greens and purples.

If you find yourself chatting with someone with their avatar standing next to your avatar, how do you disengage from the conversation if it seems like they are not going to stop talking? Do you give a real life excuse, an SL excuse, or do you just log out? 🤔

I like KFC, Popeyes, Church's, Chick-fil-A, Jollibee, all of them. I don't eat fried chicken that often. Once every few months is good. The last one I tried was a Nashville style hot chicken and it was spicy! I didn't get the version where you have to sign a waiver though.

You can view the priorities of animations playing on your avatar. In the default viewer, use ctrl-alt-q to bring up the developer menu. Then go to avatar->animation info. This should show your walk priority and your uploaded animation priority when they are being used.

I prefer not to use voice. I also don't like text either. I have a large amount of images saved in my inventory from which I can construct a visual language. For instance, to say hello I produce a picture of me waving.

Yeah, I don't like politics in my SL experience. Thankfully I haven't run into anything like it in my adventures. I don't think LL's job is to do anything. I think LL wants as many residents as possible regardless of viewpoints. Beggars can't be choosers as the saying goes.

Is this going to be a mesh body only event? It seems like with a spa there will be lots of bare legs and such. Some of us still have system bodies for their main account. ☹️

I read up on the KFC chicken sandwich and it's Quorn™ which is made with mycoprotein - a kind of fungus. Developed in the UK, the original vegetarian version is made with egg-whites but the newer vegan version does not contain egg-whites. Also, the majority of people who eat Quorn products are meat-eaters.

We should rename this thread "Ways for LL to help fight climate change". 1. LL employees get coupons for KFC vegan sandwiches and impossible burgers. 2. LL employees to ride or walk to work every day 3. Random shutdown of sims to save power. 4. Invite Greta Thundberg to speak virtually so she doesn't have to take gas powered vehicles

This was actually granted. I wish vegan burgers were healthier.

I was eating with my parents and they ordered a beyond burger not knowing what it was. I was not able to convince them it was not meat. I did try a bite and it tasted meaty but the texture was too soft. I think the fake meat sandwiches aren't made for vegans but for people trying to save the planet by reducing methane but a KFC methane reduction sandwich doesn't sound that good.
