Is it possible to start a premium account with a last name and drop to basic right away? Not that I'm planning anything. I have my last names.

I think Santa Claus would have to be one of those important men. Bringing all those gifts on his sleigh every Christmas. I didn't even have a chimney in my house.

I think we can make new basic accounts with the new last names. That's pretty much my main concern.

Don't private messages go to email? Or is that when they reach a limit. I don't know much about it as I don't get lots of messages. Maybe that's the only option.

I don't tip at stores. I just buy things there. I'd tip in a club for a performer and host. Maybe if the club sold a souvenir I'd buy that instead.

I've come up with a list of improvements that Linden Lab and Residents can implement to make SL more male oriented. The focus should be on doing things. Not talking or shopping but real action. Active stuff. 1. A better physics engine for more realistic vehicles. Flying a plane, driving a car or sailing a boat should look and feel believable. Driving your car off a cliff should cause an explosion! 2. Better sim crossings to continue with the idea of having a better vehicle experience. 3. Trees that can be chopped down with axes and chainsaws. The physics engine will help with this. 4. Something with guns like having wild animals running around that can be hunted. 5. Something with power tools like having to actually cut a prim cube from a log that you chopped down. 5. An intricate simulation of grilling and smoking meat.

I just tried going through Steam Link and I was able to stream SL from my PC to a Mac tablet over the home network. Controls are a bit difficult but it actually works. Step 1: Install and log in to Steam on PC. (Steam is a game distribution client that allows digital purchase and downloads of games.) Step 2: Add Second Life to Steam library as a non-steam program. Step 3: Install and log in to Steam Link app on tablet. Step 4: Follow instructions on tablet to link to PC. Step 5: Launch SL from tablet. Steam Link wants to use a game controller but it has a touchpad and keyboard option that kind of work.

You can go into edit shape and set your shape to MALE. Save the shape and wear the Thomas AO. Then switch back to FEMALE and you are riding the horse. And when you wear the entire avatar, it creates a new folder with all the parts in your clothing folder. You can add/remove individual parts from there.

The buy-me-something girls is like the the e-girls and thots you will find on various social sites on the internet. The more extreme version is sugar babies looking for sugar daddies.

SL seems to be tilted toward the feminine. Is that right? How do we make it more masculine? Maybe more pickup trucks. What would you suggest.

I don't use mesh underwear under mesh clothes. I used to have a problem with clothes that need to make the body invisible but I have seen in multiple video games that this is standard procedure so I've accepted it. I try to remain clothed when trying on demos or changing clothes. You just need to "add" clothes on top of your current clothes and then remove the current clothes. Like taking off your underwear with your pants still on.

Try keeping the dimensions and file size small. Has to be a jpg or png I believe.

I'm not sure the pony rider is a fad because I just saw one yesterday! She had a boyfriend with her which makes me think that a pony rider passes on her wide thigh-gap genes to her daughter.

The noon sky is the worst lighting you can ever use in SL. Nobody looks good under it. Use a windlight setting with less shadows set to an earlier or later time like 6am/pm. I haven't played SL under a noon sky in years.

Gopi, not sure what your situation is but I hope it improves. You seem like a good person from all your forum posts. The internet is a great place for finding people with similar interests and points of view. You can try to form connections that way and move it real life. 👍

Not sure which orb you have but orbs should not reset on their own as it defeats the purpose of the orb. You say a rental place has access to the orb. Is this a rental group? Or just a resident? Who is in the rental group? Maybe you should set orb access to you and one or two land managers.

Facebook is terrible but I think Apple, Google and Amazon are doing a doing a better job at privacy invasion.
