I'll post a LM later but there is this lovely "island" community I have LMed. I seem to recall it's about 7 or 8 joined sims. It's a bit expensive I thought to rent but a gorgeous design overall, sort of west coast/med vibe.

5'9" tall barefoot. Redhead. Nearly exact 8:1 artist ratio body shape and proportions. One single custom tattoo I made myself.

The guy I swung into SL with (at the advice of a long time SLer and mutual friend) just vanished one day. RL stresses I knew he was going through and a bunch of things all just wore him down and he left without a word. Did get a short message later sort-of explaining but gone. Hope he's doing okay.

I was surprised to find I do have the Petite add on, though I don't wear it. I (very roughly) based my look from a real life model with smaller breasts (I'd guess a small B cup) that are far more rounded than the perky look the Petite offers, so just dialed the size down on my base Lara until it looked still rounded but smaller, and wasn't that oddly distorted regular Maitreya you get when you make the breasts too small. I guess I will hit the Maitreya store after the initial rush has died down to get the updated Petite. Is Lara X out yet?!?

Sounds like you got yourself sorted, good! The whole BoM thing can be mighty confusing when you first start but once it clicks it's all good. One other thing to be aware of. As others have pointed out, lots of places sell both head and body skins to lessen the issues in matching head and body. TheSkinnery, for example, sells skins for many brands of heads (with a focus on Lelutka) as well as. a line of body skins for all the major bodies. Other places do this as well. The issue comes when a place sells two or three different lines of body skins like Velour. When you're there shopping for, say. a head, pay careful attention in the demo head skin which of their body lines they support. Some places are starting to see entire combos now. Sessions has an "upscale line" of head/body shapes that includes the matching body skin. Sort of an all in one package. And for neck seams, the other way is to fiddle with your neck size in the Advanced part of the Maitreya HUD. There are two setting with two parameters each, so 4 different neck fits. You sometimes have to click on each one looking closely at your neck to see which one is the best fit and the least seam.

I wanted to love CTS, but nearly gagged when I saw the program. The UX is like a poorly design user interface designed by a Windows-only engineer who has no design knowledge from the 1990s. There has to be some sort of balance between form and function for me to want to learn something new, and that isn't it, sadly.

I'm assuming that screenshot is the outfit that will be available, but shown on one of the other bodies, because that in no way represents the original screens of Lara X we've seen. PS. Sniped by @Blush Bravin who was thinking exactly what I was.

My outfit folder is broken down into main categories (casual, formal, dresses, workout, etc) each with two folders, Favorites and Regular. I've pretty much decided that I want to (slowly) replace as close as I can everything in Favourites, since there are more than enough outfits in just the Faves folders to wear. So I won't re-buy an outfit for every one I have for Lara X, just the favourite ones. I'm also hoping my dozen or so favourite clothing stores for Lara get onto the X bandwagon in a big way. Of course, this means I'm going to have to try on many of the outfits in the Regular folders again (even with good descriptive names) to make sure one of them shouldn't make the cut into Faves based on a year longer in SL and my style.
