  1. This morning before fiddling on my cyber sim ... just going for fun and cute.
  2. It's called Autumn Trace on a sim called Tranquil Bay.
  3. What the title says. Seeking rain sounds (medium intensity) that will cover a 48x48m parcel of land that has a decent volume. I know that people can adjust environmental sounds via their prefs, but I run about 75% of full volume and can barely hear some rain sounds. Recommendations appreciated, thanks!
  4. More cyber spam sorry, but with a questions in bold and at the end ... in order: the arcade (still looking for a standing machine or two as well), the weird music spot, eat in and take out place, the current overall look, and what to put in this empty spot on the corner? Recommendations? What goes in this spot below, suggestions anyone?
  5. Dancing with a date at Hotwife. Outfit by Mimikri. Had to blur out the naked unrezzed woman at the bar; even my PC struggles rendering everyone at this very crowded location.
  6. Lovely pic! And a new place to shop, while waiting for Lara X ... thanks
  7. Still working on the atmospheric and decor touches to my cyber-themed sim. Added more neon (cause of course), lighting for entrances where building can be entered, started on a cramped little music club, lighting and signage, custom nighttime cloudy EEP, and the ubiquitous cyberpunk rain. Have to finish the music spot next.
  8. Definitely a good AO, as @Nalates Urriah pointed out goes a long way to making your avatar more life like. The good ones tend to be expensive (up to 2500L) but really add a touch of real to your look, whether walking, or just standing around.
  9. Lots of room to write? Awesome, my new profile will start with (point to anyone who knows the text without resorting to a search engine) ... STATELY, PLUMP BUCK MULLIGAN CAME FROM THE STAIRHEAD, bearing a bowl of lather on which a mirror and a razor lay crossed. A yellow dressing gown, ungirdled, was sustained gently-behind him by the mild morning air. He held the bowl aloft and intoned: Introibo ad altare Dei. Halted, he peered down the dark winding stairs and called up coarsely: Come up, Kinch. Come up, you fearful jesuit. Solemnly he came forward and mounted the round gunrest. He faced about and blessed gravely thrice the tower, the surrounding country and the awaking mountains. Then, catching sight of Stephen Dedalus, he bent towards him and made rapid crosses in the air, gurgling in his throat and shaking his head. Stephen Dedalus, displeased and sleepy, leaned his arms on the top of the staircase and looked coldly at the shaking gurgling face that blessed him, equine in its length, and at the light untonsured hair, grained and hued like pale oak. Buck Mulligan peeped an instant under the mirror and then covered the bowl smartly. Back to barracks, he said sternly. He added in a preacher's tone: For this, O dearly beloved, is the genuine Christine: body and soul and blood and ouns. Slow music, please. Shut your eyes, gents. One moment. A little trouble about those white corpuscles. Silence, all. He peered sideways up and gave a long low whistle of call, then paused awhile in rapt attention, his even white teeth glistening here and there with gold points. Chrysostomos. Two strong shrill whistles answered through the calm.
  10. Yes, it'll be a re-delivery and should automatically appear in your Inventory with a notice. I remember from your Fashion post that you bought the Petite add-on and that you will have to go into the store and re-deliver there, but it's a separate body and not an add on this time.
  11. Granted, however ... You've arrived home and opened the front door, to only find your house had been totally redecorated like the office, including the worn grey industrial carpet, bad seating, and a pile of other people's dishes in the sink under the "Wash your own dishes" sign. I wish I knew who everyone's alt is posting on the forums, supporting and rehashing their own arguments.
  12. As a Maitreya-only gal, I'll grab both the LaraX and LaraXPetite body updates as soon as they hit the market. As an artist I'm mostly looking forward to tweaks to the shoulders and overall shape, and very happy that rigging for clothes will be easier (does this mean more Petite selection? one can hope). I have more than enough outfits in every category to run with 5.3 as long as need be. So many clothes for Lara 5.3 in fact, that I have broken my major clothing outfit folder structure down to include a favourites folder and a standard one; i.e., Casual/Favourites and Casual/Regular. I rarely peek into the Regular one anymore for an outfit since I have so many in faves. When I can buy or replace maybe 33% of the clothing in my favourites folders, or heck even a handful of my really really faves, I'll make the switch to LaraX full time. Honestly, I'd have more than enough variety of outfits if even only one in four of my Favourite outfits were available for LaraX. Later ... It will be very interesting to see how some of my utterly favourite clothing brands adapt to and support Lara. Not the big mainstream women's clothing brands (I have nothing against the big name, just prefer smaller more interesting fashion designs), more specifically the ones that make smaller collections but provide quality and often times quite unique styles.
  13. i have visions of seeing Cary Grant walk into that background and handing you a drink.
  14. Gorgeous. Of course, I'll now never be able to imagine you only in white, and I will never turn my back on you.
  15. I thought that the small marine station was wasted space and so spent the day creating a cyber-inspired piece on my 1/4 sim. I still have to decorate and fill five small shops but this is a good start for a few hours work. Welcome to Cyber Island (in the last image, it's in the back centre). Finished another hour+ work and have two of the five spaces filled. A take out kitchen with a small restaurant next door.
  16. It's so booorrrrriiiiiinnnnnggggg waiting
  17. Something's definitely up, getting 504 bad gateways.
  18. In the gallery hanging a new work. Four more sold today so I need to get some time to create and get new ones for those. They take about 2-3 hours each to do. (Yes, I climbed a ladder in heels. Yes, I was very careful.)
  19. In addition to @animats, I think there is also a shopping region at Insilico as well for cyber stuff.
  20. Welcome to the madhouse! Bauhaus would be my first suggestion. They're vaguely neo-Asian inspired and have mostly the dressy look I think you're looking for with a bit of edge. Nothing there though for cyberpunk I wouldn't say, though they have or two in that style. Maybe also try some of the Asian-themed or cyber events. Later edit: I should have added, if you can skip Petite and go regular Lara, a lot more options will open up.
  21. Granted. There's now a soft ice cream truck outside your house blaring obnoxious carnie music on an endless loop and ringing bells 24/7 that makes you the most hated person on your street. I wish I could remember people's names better.
