  1. Thanks to @Blush Bravin, @Dorientje Woller, @Rowan Amore, @Orwar and others I've finally made some progress. I think now just little tweaks to get it exactly how I want but much better now. Thanks very much. I also did go and buy that thigh gap fix, it's so much better looking with that added (not shown in pics). Tattoo on my left side blurred out. Sorry, redhead's need their secrets.
  2. So true, all those annoying "How do I wear a tail?" questions. (Says the frustrated LaraX shape noob.)
  3. I was going to say remove ... Hoomans. You can now only have a proper animal or furry avatar. But then we'd be going after each other like, umm, dogs and cats. I'll show myself out now.
  4. This, and other pics showing it is possible, is only making me feel like a total day one noob again. Thank you though, I'll keep kicking my monitor until i get it right.
  5. Then I am doing some majorly wrong because I can't even get my belly that flat from the side.
  6. Interesting the flatness of the stomach. I also can't get that. Is this the petite shape?
  7. Based on breast size and shape that's the Petite body?
  8. That's partly the angle it was taken. The camera's not perfectly 90° on either the body or the prim, and is slightly higher and pointing downward than it should be. It's very very close looking from the front.
  9. In my store, I just sent you a copy. On a phantom prim that's resizeable.
  10. I'm starting to suspect that what the issue is under the skin is that whatever passes for a spine and coccyx in the rig (?) isn't long enough and the top of the butt curve is too high for that reason. Look at this side by side I just took ... while the butt sticks out a touch more than I'd like it's the overall shape that's not correct. There's no gentle curve into the roundness from the top down (where you spine curves out), it just balloons out very suddenly. That's not how human bodies look, the curve into your tush has a downward slope not a sudden outward jutting. It's like the angle on the tailbone from the spine is too aggressive. That's my issue, almost more so than the actual size. (Also need to lengthen my arm by 1 or 2 to get the wrist in the right spot)
  11. Fiddling now (technically writing up a report for work, but with my PC at my side hard to resist). 🤷‍♀️ Not flat, I am still looking for some obvious but tamed curvature. Right now I have what I call "booty", I'm just looking for some tush (yes, yes, cue the ZZ Top meme).
  12. Well then it's some other combination of sliders working in tandem because I can't get anywhere near flat no matter how I try. I've gotten my proportional shape back (my 8:1 artists ratio re: torso length, hip width, breast height, etc) everywhere else, and the shoulders are now much better, but that curvy tush is maddening. I'm told it's cute, but maddening to me.
  13. Yes, almost everyone has a noticeable, soft curvature in those spots in the arch of your lower back. But they are almost always that, gentle wider curves, not the deep small divots that the triangles are showing in various lighting. If I were Maitreya, I'd soften those quite a bit to more of a realistic, less harsh shape as a first update.
  14. Yup, same. I can not get my tush anywhere near as flat as I could with 5.3. And 0 is also the smallest for me, I can adjust the sliders up towards 20 and see the butt increase in size. No idea how @Orwar managed that nicer looking tush pictured previously. I swear if the butt stays like this, and I can't tone it down, I'm either permanently sticking to 5.3 or exploring Legacy (shudder).
  15. This is roughly the shape I'm looking for as well. Still not getting it quite right. Too rounded yet for me (I'll be posting in the naked pic section as example to show off my current freckled tush). https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/489954-tastefully-naked/page/57/#comment-2662745
  16. Yup, but does that save the new alpha to the clothes, or when I put that same outfit on again will I need to repeat this? There's supposedly a way to create and save a new alpha setup into the clothes using the /95 method.
  17. Anything well done captures my interest and imagination. North west Pacific coast rocky shoreline. Urban. Cyberpunk. Smokey small club with good jazz. Desolate isolation. Thematic environments and well done sim residential areas. Even if I don't like a specific type of decoration or overall theme, I can still admire and praise it for the effort, beauty, and overall effectiveness.
  18. I haven't tried setting up a new AutoHide with am item that already has one in it (will it override the existing one?) as described at the top, it's this part at the bottom that seems to not work ...
  19. Re: Lara vs LaraX clothing ... Can someone either explain in very small, simple words and steps how to do the /95 [part of the outfit name] delete trick to me to get the auto hide alphas or scripts or whatever out of the handful of favourite outfits I want to try to wear so I can just manually alpha using the HUD? Or point me to a relevant video tutorial? I try it and nothing seems to happen. Thanks!
  20. Find me the name of the CXO, the one in charge of the overall direction for user experience. Their UX team, their UX researchers. As someone in that field for 30 years, that's someone I'd like to know a lot more about.
  21. The Lara HUD has a re-delivery button so no need to go to the store unless you also have Maitreya Petite. Either way, people are being very good and the store is crowded but not difficult to get into. People are mostly arriving, grabbing the re-deliveries, and then leaving, thankfully. One thing I have noticed are the better elbows in most resting positions. In 5.3 you could sometimes see what I'd describe as the end of a 1x2 stick joint poking back, now it's much smoother.
  22. Re: the bum dimples (aka Dimples of Venus, thanks Michelangelo 🙄). It is really dependent on the BoM skin you use. The included Velour ones do accentuate them, while both of my TheSkinnery skins really make them far less noticeable. See the photo below, wearing my usual BoM from TheSkinnery. I've also found that a lot of my looser clothes (for example, a recent sweater and shorts set from Neve) fit fine with only one or two extra alphas needed.
