True, but 90% of the time I've been to your store to pick up the demo if it was in world, and even if I didn't LM the location it's stored in my Teleport history to pop back to at any time. If from the MP, most vendors already add a LM to the object's folder anyway, so a user would get the landmark that way. But I see your point about the HUD, if that's the one of four ways they use to package them up (versus rezz on ground and open/copy, a HUD you have to click ves one that auto unpacks or offers a blue menu to accept, etc). Like Christiano, I also prefer items all unpacked in the object that gets delivered. Saves me time.

That is an odd thing to me. I would have thought that an attempt to cam into someone's home through the walls would stop at the walls as is the case in many video games. Sure you can peek in windows that are uncovered, and if someone's left a door open get in camming that way, but walls should be solid, no?

Have now bought a nice outfit (vee-neck knit sweater and leather pants, both updated with X size) from ISON at Dubai, new necklace from Ysoral (and it falls perfectly over the clavicles of X), and a new sweater/dress number (Lilleth?) also at an event. Everything else I've demoed didn't suit my style, but more coming every day. Waiting for erratic and Glitzz, among many others. I'm worried I will be spending quite a bit, even though am being far pickier now and only going for my favourite looks and stores as they update or (mostly) put out new designs.

I did. It's how I was able to find the small hidden square root prim inside the pants. No joy. It's weird I can remove a script but not add one. (And yes, the v5 script from Maitreya shows owned by me and has full permissions.) Wait, when you say drop "it" on the ground first, do you mean the script itself?

It's not only BB using the older script, I've been fiddling with my favourite capris this morning (VJERA from amias) and found they also use the old v4 script. Lots of brands seem to be using the v4. Odd thing, the amias capris say they are moddable, and I can find the hidden root prim and apparently remove the old v4 script, but can not drop the v5 script onto them. Weird. @Vanity Fair ... I haven't bought anything yet, but have only managed to find about 6–7 demos I liked the look of to try out. Hoping Maitreya gets her Biker jeans out soon (next?) so I can at least get a jeans/top outfit done. You can only walk around in bra/panties for so long before someone complains

Thank you it never seems to do anything for me. @MissSweetViolet ... Can you actually "edit" an item you're wearing and see the v5 script to know if it uses that? For example, I have a recent pair of capris (VJERA from amias) that has autohide. Should I be able to see said script in the item somewhere?

The only one I found I needed with the Lara X (and I've never used deformers before) was the thigh gap. Once I had my shape all done (thanks everyone!) I found the thighs are uncomfortably close. Some of the lighting and shine on the Velour (and sister) line of skins is highly questionable. Good brand, lots of choice, but demo everything. You may not like the highlighting on their skins, I don't, but that's a very personal opinion.

Now that I have my X body into some decent shape, I'll just slowly gather back my favourite outfits from those vendors (redelivered or new designs that are the same style) until I reach a tipping point where I can comfortably switch over. No rush, as others have pointed put most of us have enough different outfits for 5.3 we'd never really need to buy new ones anyway. My one concession is to not buy anything for 5.3 again.

Thanks very much. I also did go and buy that thigh gap fix, it's so much better looking with that added (not shown in pics). Tattoo on my left side blurred out. Sorry, redhead's need their secrets.
