Looks like unpacking the head again and replacing everything from the new folder (head, shape, teeth, eyes, eyebrows, and HUD) has fixed the issue but I will let everyone know soon.

TY Janet and Marianne. We have tried the Ears ON/OFF setting on the LOGO HUD (I also have a LOGO head, btw, so at least she and I are working on the same HUD). The ears appear for a brief moment then disappear. There is no neck fix/alpha on the LOGO HUD, so that's not it. I think we'll trying unpacking the head and HUD again and replace the existing one. I'll let you know when we can get to that. Thanks for the advice!

Going to have my GF check her Belleza HUD for neck things ... then unpack the Gessami BOM skin again to see if it is corrupted. Weird thing is? The demo worked just fine.

Helping my partner get all done up in a new avatar and I see gaps (neck and ears missing), yet they see everything fine. LATER EDIT ... They logged out and back and now also see this gap!!! How do I do a sort of "refresh textures" on her so that I see things that are actually there? When we click the show ears on/off in the LOGO HUD they show for a second then disappear. We're at out wits end as newbies.

That is, indeed, a good idea! My lingerie drawers are filled with items that seem to be either BOM stuff or mesh, never both. I wonder if you could write a script (like the Maitreya feet height thing) that would detect if item X (say, your tight fitting dress) was removed, it would automatically detach the BOM items and Add the matching mesh items? And, as a newbie, it was only this evening that I noticed that some of my right fitting tops and a few other clothing items do come in both types. I have to update my one outfit with that nice silk blouse I have.

I know how to lock our house, set a security/boot radius and time on the house, and set our sailboat, jet skis etc to group (we have a private group just for John and I) so that only the two of use can use them. What I am unsure of are the needed permissions I should set to allow visitors to: teleport to and visit the parcel to see my art studio which is on one side of the parcel (away from the house), maybe sit on my beach chairs, but not do anything "bad". And what is "deeding" the parcel to the group, what does that help set for us? What is the benefit? Figured this one out, thanks.

I am giving up my small parcel eventually that is currently sailable, and am wondering what spot has the largest/longest body of continuous water for sailing? I have heard names but do not know my geography yet well enough to know what is what. Obviously we will also need a place to rezz our lovely BBX sailboat in this place as well. Recommendations?

Hiya ... seeking another builder as lovely as InVerse (I own several Inverse products) who offer a wide range of styles (prefer modern but I will look at cabin/cottage etc) and are furnished. I've seen the great design work of Trompe Loeil and Studio Skye, but seeking furnished. Really looking for quality design. Small is okay ... 15x30 max and as much under 100LI as I can get. No skyboxes. Rental ready with a system like Casperlet a huge bonus. Ideas?

And just for MsAfrodite ... part of the reason people rent parcels on private islands (vs mainland) is that it seems to work out to be cheaper than paying for a year's premium membership. The cost of that premium membership is US$99 which is roughly equal to 24,000L. Which means you are appearing to paying "rent" to LL for your free 1024 allocation of land at a rate of roughly 460L/week, plus whatever you paid to buy that parcel of land (if you are not living in a Linden home). That could be 1,000L or 5,000L depending on location, views, etc. And rents for the same amount of space on some private island might only be 150-250L/week, so renting seems the better deal. But the true cost of that free allowance of 1024m with your premium account is much less ... LL gives you in the first year a 1,000L bonus (after 45 days membership) plus 300L/week stipend. Excluding that 1,000 one-time gift, that means your real weekly cost to "rent" that 1024m panel from LL is actually 160L (the 460 - 300), so with membership paying part of your rent, it works out cheaper for many to pay the premium membership and just use the 1024. Note: I am only considering economic value here, not what can be done on your parcel, prims available, etc. Renting on private islands though opens up opportunities to do business, run clubs, etc depending on what the parcel owners rules right be. And if you really want to go all in, you rent a full homestead sim from someone at a rate of about 7,000L / week (covering their $109/month cost with LL to run this) and set your own rules. Feature request: I'd love to see LL allow couples who are both premier members to combine their land allowance so that we could jointly live on one 2048 parcel on the mainland, instead of having two separate parcels or having one of us have to pay the extra US$7/month feee for that amount (tier) of land. I'd also love to be able to purchase outright a homestead, without the requirement to own a regular full sim, but as a newbie do not have the understanding of how/why that whole system requirement came to be.

I could not figure out how to link my inventory (one-off paintings) between my shop (in a skybox gallery above my mainland parcel) and my Marketplace store anyway, so I went the route of the gallery being a showcase of the available pieces on a wall to browse, and have a sign that directs users back to my online Marketplace to make the purchase. That would be legit I think above a Linden home since you can't buy anything in my skybox.
