  1. Catwa CSR here It looks like you've applied an eyebrow applier. To clear it: Add your Catwa HUD Master from the head's folder Go into the 3rd tab from the top (Eyes.Brows.Neck Tattoo) Under the Brows section at the top, check the LOWER box and click CLEAR, then check the UPPER box next to it and click CLEAR again
  2. That, I can't tell you. We use the tools that we're given by LL, which are mute/block. If the event owner isn't responding to your notecards then there's nothing much you can do about it. That's regarded as a resident-to-resident dispute, which LL won't get involved in. You could try an AR for spam, and see if that stops it, but the first lot of spam I started getting from them arrived in July 2018, so if no action has been taken since then I doubt it will be taken now. No, of course not. But you'd already responded to my post previously. I was curious as to why you answered it a second time. Particularly, you said: Blocking the owner does work. It has muted the spam, using the tools that we have available to us. That you choose to view muted chat is up to you. Nothing we can do to help you here. We're just residents like you.
  3. Why did you re-quote my first post here from a month ago, when you had already quoted it and replied to it earlier today? I repeat my previous post of a few minutes ago: Did you check for the chat setting that's shown in the image in my earlier post from today? I asked you to check if you'd enabled the 'show muted chat in nearby chat'. I'll paste the image again. Please check the top of your local chat/conversations window to see if this icon is highlighted. If it is, click it again to un-highlight it.
  4. Two more male skin creators who have full BoM options for Catwa and Legacy: Birth, and Vendetta.
  5. Did you check for the chat setting in my image?
  6. To clarify: is this just text spam in your Conversations/local chat window, and not notecards that are being sent to you? Because if the option to unblock comes up for the avatar account that's spamming you, then you have definitely blocked them. What I suspect has happened is that you have enabled the option to view muted chat in local. Have a look to see if you see the below at the top of your chat window: If that icon is highlighted, then that's why you're seeing any chat-only spam. If, however, you're still receiving notecards, you probably haven't muted the avatar who owns the scripted object that's sending them. This video shows how to find out the owner of a scripted object. Note that there may be more than one object, with more than one owner, and that owner might not be the one who also owns the events group. I was also spammed repeatedly by that event several months ago, despite never having attended it. I received regular notecards and IMs; at least one or two a week. I won't give their full names here, but the two avatar account names that I ended up blocking (which stopped the spam) are suffixed with 'Marketing' and 'SubscriberNews'.
  7. I've long suspected that Skell gratefully shucks off all the fancy clothing and just slobs around in a ratty old pair of sweatpants, burping and scratching his nuts while he watches sports on TV. Just to bloody spite me.
  8. Catching fire? No, that's for threads that hit hundreds of posts in the space of a few hours. If you want to hit that level of blaze, you'll be doing so on your own. You're clearly ignoring what is being said here, and I have better things to do than aim my keyboard at a brick wall.
  9. Allow me to repeat myself, since this doesn't seem to be getting through.
  10. And since I notice that the linked Employment forum in the original answer was one from a previous forum iteration, for reference of anyone else who may land on this thread after a Google search, I submit the following: If you are seeking or offering employment within Second Life, go to the Inworld Employment sub-forum here.
  11. Then simply report the entire post and let the moderation team decide. They can't possibly watch every single topic in this vast forum, so unless something really 'catches fire' in the main forum sub-sections, it's likely to go unnoticed unless its reported by someone.
  12. From the Community Guidelines: There is no need for a forum moderator to delete it. You've already edited your first post, so you could do that again to remove the links. That debate has been had multiple times in the forum. However, when you re-opened this nine year-old thread you will have seen a large, bright blue banner at both the top and the bottom of the thread, telling you that you are about to reply to a topic that has been inactive for (in this case) 2381 days, and asks you if you really need to re-open it. The question itself was indeed in the wrong place, and the first response to it (which is all that remains because the forums have changed software a couple of times since) pointed to the correct place for the question to be asked: the Inworld Employment sub-forum. Presumably the reason why the post was left to stand is because the correct answer was given, redirecting anyone who searched for the question (as you did) to the forum where they are supposed to find employment, as well as advertise employment. Yes, indeed you did. You promoted your own website.
  13. There was unscheduled billing maintenance yesterday, as per this incident report: https://status.secondlifegrid.net/incidents/knqhlf4lk7rn?u=mrktddl8fbs8 The issue has now been resolved, so if you've still not received your L$ then - assuming that you used the Market Buy option and not the Limit Buy option - then you may need to contact Billing. If you used the Limit Buy option, please see Rolig's response in this thread.
  14. IKON, Modulus, and Gabriel for The Men's Dept.
  15. You'll probably have a far greater chance of attracting potential bloggers if you gave some more details about the event and what kinds of store will be in attendance (or that you hope to attract). Is it themed (like Engine Room or Necrotise)? Is it mostly male or female items, or are there unisex items? A mixture of avatar customisation and Home & Garden? Etc etc.
  16. Just went to check this: my fellow Catwa CSR Majer has apparently been curating a Flickr gallery of HDPRO skins. A quick glance at the latest ones in our Discord tells me the gallery is pretty up to date, so maybe have a glance through here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mjbella/galleries/72157716173821608/
  17. She doesn't, sorry. She has her own Flickr account, where she posts her new releases, and then she has the general Flickr group where anyone can post their looks using her products. The latter is a lot of work to look after, so adding more is not something that's on the radar right now.
  18. Click the Discord link on the Settings tab of your HDPRO Style HUD and join the Catwa server. Quite a few skins are being posted in the female-skins-news channel there as they're released or go on offer.
  19. Seeing something that I paid full price for at an event last month being sold for L$60 in a weekend sale this month.
  20. Check your transaction history on the main Second Life website. This is usually caused by being a member of a group that has its land set to show in search, with the group membership set in such a way that the payment for that search listing (it's L$30 per week, as I recall) comes from the L$ balance of random group members each week. The bigger the group membership the less likely you are to be hit by that repeatedly, but a smaller group has fewer members, so if you've not been logging in often enough to notice it then you could have paid that search listing several times. Your transaction history will show the last 30 days (if you're a non-premium member) and the last 90 days (if you're premium) and you'll see where the money went. BTW, the profile date you mention in your next post is the date when you joined SL with the account you're currently posting on, not the date when you very first accessed SL on any other account.
  21. I had this issue last night, and it turned out to be because I was using Firefox. When I logged into my account using Chrome I could access the L$ purchase page. Caveat: I didn't disable all of my Firefox Extensions to check if it was one of those, so I can't guarantee that it was Firefox itself, so if you're not using Firefox, check your extensions instead. Usually it'll be something like an ad-blocker rule causing the issue. Case in point: if any merchant on Marketplace uses 'ad' in their image file name, Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin would sometimes stop the image from loading (which is why I disabled Adblock and uBlock for Marketplace).
  22. Glad to hear that fixed it, Beryl. And thank you for coming back to let us know
