  1. did you ever notice this happens to your mesh body or head? no matter the slider position, your 'parts' shaded identical. on minimum or maximum slider position, you get the same shading of your nose or breasts or whatever other parts. this is a major flaw (or bug?) in rigged mesh shading in Second Life. if you're using Second Life NOT with a shadowless WL presets like CalWL, this affects your avatar for years. you never get your unique face or body shape shaded right, the shading always looks like the default shape. please consider spreading this information and c
  2. Hello to everyone, If you do not yet know MeshAgency I specialise in creating 3D mesh items. With the quarantine i have had allot of new kinds of requests, i could do with some help and also some specialisations. - Texture artist : I have clients that ask for texture packs, i'm not interested in doing this but if you are good and would like to try you can contact me.   4. Recently (last week or 2) I have noticed that lots of things that were previously visible are no longer rendered. For example, on a necklace I'm wearing the string would render but not the pearls. Bits of furniture in my house. Bits of other people's boats/bikes/cars in other sims. The stuff seems to have rezzed as when I click edit (on things I own), the outline is properly highlighted. I'm using Firestorm and I don't remember changing any settings recently. Can anybody suggest what I might need to do? Thanks a lot.
  5. Hi everyone. I've been having a problem lately where makeup/hair bases I apply to my head take forever to render/load onto the head or just don't render at all. As a result, the textures of the makeup and hair bases are just perpetually blurry. Anyone have any solutions for this? Thank you in advance! Here is a picture of what I'm talking about: https://gyazo.com/bd03b728e9a8f5d06153c90582a12346 The eyeliner is blurry. It has been about 10 minutes and it still hasn't rendered onto the eye.
  6. Hello, i have this issue where thin straight or curved lines, such as telephone wire, window dividers are not rendered completely at a distance. Objects like wires strung between telephone poles look like a series of dashes. Window dividers are not all there. If I zoom in the lines look nice and smooth. I’ve had this issue for quite a while, but lately it has started to bother me when taking photos. I am using the latest version of Friestorm and recently upgraded my computer to an i5 8400/16gb memory/gtx 1060 with 6gb memory. But I had the issue with my older computer too.. I do h
  7. Night in Second Life. A darker night than usual. Riding a bike with a working headlight. Kama City Cafe parking lot, Kama City Convenience store, Dark Alley The environment is Nacon's Natural Sunrise A, just before first light, with advanced lighting enabled.
  8. Global Illumination, or in laymen's terms, light refraction. Does anyone remember this feature from a few years ack? I believe it was killed off because it didn't play well with blended alpha textures; which was bad, because back then we didn't have the option for alpha masking as we do now. It was a wonderful feature, I feel like it just came at the wrong time. Now that we have proper alpha modes, I wonder if it could return?
