I wait for the modern houses as well, but the stilts will entertain me in the meantime

I just took a tour of the stilts to remind me of the layouts. Each one has something to offer. The Lauderdale is the largest I think. The Havana is small but the decks are great and I love that rear covered area. The Tortuga has the best open plan and I think that large area would make a great living/kitchen/dining combo especially if the kitchen opens out to the rear deck for more dining. Love all the windows. The Santiago has upper decks off both rooms upstairs, which would make a great master en suite. I'm not sure I want open water all around me. I think I'll try for partial water/land. Just have to wait and see what my alts capture.

I am surprised that two of the biggest fashion houses in SL back in the day have not been mentioned. Heavens, I remember the fashion shows I attended by My Precious and Bliss! I have kept every piece I purchased from those stores. They are neatly packed away in their own storage boxes and I think I may do something with them like Skell is doing since BOM is the new thing. I am not a pack rat. I just hang to those items I deem are irreplaceable. My Precious and Bliss did do a bit of mesh when it first hit the grid. I have some of those pieces as well. Have no idea why they closed but they are missed to this day by me.

I just got the page that they are sold out of homes. It's been slow for me as of yesterday. Having to refresh multiple times, and then the message "something went wrong". Something is up. Second time I have gotten this...

I use a WL I created myself. When I am visiting destinations of interest, I use their WL first. If I don't like it I revert to mine, unless doing photography. Haven't used the midday in nine years. Cringes at the thought of using the day cycle as I am too busy terraforming, sorting through inventory or tinkering on something. I need consistent lighting.

I am 5'7" in first life. Firestorm measures me 6.78 ft. flat footed and 2.07meters. Rezzing a cube I am 2.0695. Pretty accurate I would say. I use to be taller and over the years have shrunk. Not going any shorter. I am a amazon among munchkins , but I would rather be looking down than up. Besides the air up here is better.

I think this is just a crock of crap. Someone is out to get Genus for one reason or another. One DMCA is enough, but another just days later is just obscene, and smells of a concerted effort to take Genus out for good. I am rooting for Genus and I hope the a holes are exposed.

I've been a premium member since my second day in Second Life. That was 10 years ago and it has been more than worth it to me. You have to ask yourself if it is worth it to you.

The Verne is my favorite layout. I find it is just big enough. I picked up a Victorian a little over a week ago and the parcel screamed Verne! No plans to get rid of this beauty anytime soon.

I can be found up on my region's sky platform, listening to my music from itunes as I sort and organize inventory.

I have this book as well. It is well worn from the many readings to my grand kids. I was just at Barnes & Noble the other day and picked up The Monster at the end of this book 2. I can't wait for the next sleepover to surprise my little rug rats.

My alt picked up this Victorian on Cape Edward a week ago. It's one of the best inland lots I've had. What cinched it for me was being surrounded by water on two sides and the street on the other two sides. It's my own private oasis. While I am not a fan of garages, (I turn them into something else), the Roost carport I put out works well. In no hurry to decorate as I am not releasing this beauty anytime soon.

Even though I have no interest in the petite add-on I am loving designers that are embracing, and creating for it. Rest assured I will be shopping those stores that create for both the regular Lara and the petite. @maitimo The Catalina system layers from The Sea Hole are some of the best. Was happy to pull them out of storage so I could wear.
