Maybe she means the length of the footbed. I made a shape where I lengthened the feet, and the older sandals do not adjust. I'm taller than many female avatars here in Sl, and the tiny feet remind me of bound feet. The proportion is off. I have two sets of Zaara sandals that I do not wear anymore because of this. I hope she updates them as well, as they are beautiful.

I name all my outfits...Clubbing, Dress Every Day, Dress Smart Casual, Dress Cocktail, Evening Gowns, Lingerie, Jeans, Pants, Shorts, Skirts, Swimwear... and so on. This system works for me. I have over 200 outfits right now. I just deleted a few, but I usually have close to 300. I have no issues at all.

When I was 2 months old here in SL, I couldn't find anything in my inventory. I had so much in my objects folder I was overwhelmed. I figured if I was going to continue, I must organize this mess. I took a class one of the building groups offered at the time, and boy, did that change my SL world. I have maintained my inventory now for almost 14 years. The system I have created works for me and keeps me organized. As it stands, I have 37,000 items in my closet. I keep all my home and garden organized in boxes, and all original clothing/accessories purchases are stored similarly. Now, if I kept all that in my closet, my inventory would increase to 250,000 easily. Taking care of your inventory is a daily chore if you want to stay organized. Most residents don't want to take an hour, hour and a half total doing this. But spending that time each day or when you log in goes a long way to getting your closet/inventory organized. One just needs the desire to start and stay at it.

You can also make copies of both bodies, tint one so you can see the difference, and then wear both bodies. This way you can see what is different and correct any areas that need it. I redid my 5.3 shape and now wear it with LaraX as well. I am happy with the look, and I switch between both bodies. I have a massive closet for 5.3. No way am I trashing it. But from now on, I will only buy LaraX unless I see something I must have for 5.3. It's the best of both worlds.

I was one of those people who said I would never change my Catwa Catya. I knew it was time for a change when my favorite skin was placed on clearance. I bit the bullet and bought the Lelutka Avalon head, which had the lip and nose style I preferred. I shopped for skins, makeup, and additional skin add-ons and went to work on trying to recreate my look. I think I did a decent job. It can be done. Patience is required.

You do know that any ballgown or formal dress can be used as a bridal gown or bridesmaid gown?

I am amassing a solid collection of clothing for LaraX. I am sticking with a classic, understated, but still sexy style. As some of the designers I frequent update clothing pieces, I already have to include LaraX, I will delete the Lara 5.3 size. I will not just delete my whole inventory of Lara 5.3 items. That's roughly 15,000+ different pieces. Some will never be replicated. I would be off my rocker to even consider it, but no longer will I be buying 5.3. I can see myself wearing both bodies for quite some time to come.

The Fashionably Dead offering at Collabor88 does fit LaraX rather well with minimal alpha. In fact, I just used the ones included.

Well done, Linden Labs and Moles! Many residents will want this. That being said, I would love to see 'Craftsman Bungalows, Prairie style, and a true 'Modern' like the Trompe Loeil builds in Bellisseria.

I couldn't decide so here are two outfits I would love to see in LaraX... The Agnes Dress and Maggie Pants and Jacket. Both by Mutresse

At the Santa Inc. event, Dead Doll has a flannel pajama set. It's adorable. Also Bauhaus has a Shorts & Top set with a coordinating Jacket that can be purchased separately. I jumped on both outfits. The landing point at Hilly Hanlan has an evening gown and pants set I jumped on. At Fameshed, Pink Cream Pie and MIDNA have sweater dresses. I picked both up. Pixicat has a top at the Fifty that hangs in my closet now as well. I have been shopping non-stop for the last 2-3 days. My wallet is screaming for me to stop, and I can't seem to stop myself. I continue to reload.

I will be buying LaraX specifically from here on out. Yes, I will still wear my Lara 5.3. I have too many outfits collected over 8+ years. Some will never be updated, and I am not ready to purge them from my inventory. What I will do is, as an outfit is updated or something similar is newly created for LaraX, I will delete the Lara 5.3 outfit. In the meantime, I am switching between both bodies. It's the best of both worlds for now.

This is an edit to my former post... All "Maitreya items" in the "Maitreya store" will be updated. No date has been announced. I own just about every single item in the store, lol. That said, I have no idea if the updates will be free. I don't expect it, and no one else should either. I am grateful to the creators/designers that I frequent who will continue to design for LaraX. I will also continue to wear my Lara 5.3. No plans to shelf her at this time or in the future.

Reading some of the comments... Over in Maitreya Discord, a comment was made about the dimples...that will be addressed in an update... I don't know when, though. I have no issue with it, as my skin is darker. It seems to be more pronounced with light skin tones with little to no shading. Maitreya Vintage Jeans...Has been updated to LaraX. If you have these, hit the redelivery button at the store. Dead Doll has updated a sweater at Equal 10 and a pair of shorts at Anthem events to include LaraX size. If you have purchased these, hit the redelivery button at the store. All Maitreya Items in store are to be updated. No date has been announced.

When the announcement slipped by accident earlier in the year, and all the chatter started, I knew that most of my 5.3 clothing would not fit. This new body is so lovely, and my shape has barely changed. Some minor tweaks will be needed. That said, I don't expect 75% or more of my closet to fit LaraX. I never thought that. Most of what I have seen out for LaraX I would never wear, and I am not buying just to put clothes on the new and improved LaraX, and I don't run around naked on beaches either. I will continue to wear the Lara 5.3 as updates to my current clothing items (if any), and new purchases made will be specifically for LaraX. I have too much invested in my closet for 5.3. Not getting rid of it. I'll switch between both.

I want to see updates to Lara's clothing to LaraX. I will gladly pay for it. I love the new body. Bewbs are rounder/fuller, more natural looking. Overall, I love it!

I hope the creators I frequent will go back and rerig their most recent releases for LaraX, and I wouldn't mind paying for that, either. Like many, I also have eight years of scouring creators' releases and enough clothes to last until LL shuts off the lights for SL. As new items become available, I will go back and forth between Lara 5.3 and LaraX. I would be daft to ditch the closet of clothing I have for Lara 5.3. I've DEMO'd other mesh bodies and my preference is Maitreya Lara. I've worn her since she was released. I am not changing.

Yes, to COCO, yes to ISON. I have just about everything these stores have offered. There are others. Fashionably Dead, Erratic, Tetra, Just Because, Dead Doll, Clef de Peau, Giz Seorn, Rowne, Valentina E, Tres Blah, just to name a few. All have Classic modest clothing that is still sexy and they also have the revealing clothes. I have a inventory/closet full of just above the knee skirts and dresses. While it may be hard in finding more modest clothing, it is also rewarding once you do.

You learn something new every day. I love it!
