I love the outdoors. We use to have a place at Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky that we spent every weekend at when the kids were in grade school. It was a large vintage Airstream with a full length screened in porch that we built ourselves. We had the time of our lives every weekend fishing, hiking, and boating. Then the kids got older and became more involved in extracurricular activities. We sold the place as we just couldn't go as often as we use to. We continue to camp closer to home these days but it's tent camping and that is an adventure in and by itself. The kids are grown now and when we enter the park it is a caravan. We take up 4-5 campsites these days, and each campsite is maxed out at 6 people each. I have a big family Anyway, these campers are right up my alley. I've started decorating, working mainly on the outside. I found a really nice outdoor kitchen, because when I camp I cook outdoors, and I also found a covered eating area. I have an area for a campfire/sitting/roasting marshmallows and smores, along with my beloved swing I place at each of my homes. It's coming along nicely I think. The tiny house will just have a bedroom and bath inside. I may throw a lounger with reading material on the deck. Haven't quite decided just yet. This does call to mind many happy memories for me

My understanding is that the 512 lots with 175 LI would appeal to those that had/wanted 512 in mainland or wanted to continue to contribute to group owned on the mainland. I may not be explaining it correctly. Too many to's lol. I think the 512 lots with 175 LI with all the landscaping that has been done already will be plenty. I am sure to find out once I start decorating my parcel.

As FairreLilette said, but I would go one better...Contact the CSR's in the Maitreya Lara groups. They are always helpful and you can also contact the maker as well. On an afterthought, do you have anything else on your avatar that is new that might be interfering with the hands?

We have two whole months to entertain the Lindens and Moles. I can just see them all now giggling with glee at our speculations of what the next model might be .

Hi Matty. Have you tried replacing the hand with a new one? It's worth a try.

I also posted this over in another thread but decided to post here as well. Last night I scored a Camper with a near perfect location. Today Parlouf was released and an alt was able to grab a traditional. Not the location I was looking for I so I released it back. I began again and was able to grab another abandoned on Parlouf. For me it is also a near perfect location. In fact, I had looked at this exact location longingly when this region was not yet released. To the person who abandoned this parcel, thank you. I count myself fortunate to have found my dream parcels and have taken myself out of the abandon/refresh circle until such time that a new model comes along that peeks my interest. Hope everyone finds their dream location.

I wasn't on online to today as I was not feeling well. Reading my emails I figured I missed my chance to get a camper. Feeling somewhat better this evening and 3 hours after the campers were released I decided to take a chance and try for one of the campers. I logged in to the get a linden home page and was stunned to see campers still being offered. I took my time going through the steps as I felt there was no way I was going to get one of these campers. I was stunned when the page showing my new home came up. I looked at the map before going inworld and find my parcel is next to a bit of water. I logged in and promptly choose the Williamsburg and set the color decor. I also have a lovely sunset view from the porch. Took a quick pic to share. Now back to bed. I'll decorate later when I am feeling up to snuff. Hope everyone is happy with their new home. A big thank you to the Lindens and Moles.

If memory serves me correctly, the island was called 'the Pickle' or 'Pickle Island' before Squishy Pickle came into being. Squishy Pickle was an addon in response to the popularity of the Houseboats. If my memory is wrong please enlighten.

I've been a Premium Member almost from day one of my existance in SL. Being able to have a home was the primary purpose of becoming a PM at the time. One thing led to another and I leased a homestead and then a couple years later graduated to a Full region which I now have open to the public [http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pyrenees Atlantiques/237/6/23 <shameless advertising One of my alts has a houseboat on Bellisseria. I have always wanted sailable water. Another has a traditional, and both parcels challenge my prim hog tendencies. I will always have a Linden Home or homes. They are my home away from home, from home They are handy during restarts as well. I will continue to lease my full region as it is my creative outlet. There may be somewhat of a decrease in land rental/sales for a time, maybe, but I don't think it will last.

^^^THIS! A few weeks back I abandoned my initial release traditional. My alt was able to snag a traditional just one house away from the beach in Wobbly and one house away from the waterway that is located in Foxbridge. It's a lovely location but I am still gonna try for "that one parcel". I hope whoever was able to snag my old parcel in Domingos is happy as it has a lovely view of the marina and located just down from the community pool.

Wish I could Derez these eyesores in 1st like I can in 2nd.

That one thing for me is a porch swing. I have one (by What Next) at each one of my homes. Of course I have one in my 1st life (not by What Next ). I find it to be very relaxing in both worlds.

I vaguely remember a set of children's books called "The Boxcar Children." Yeah, I could see this in SL.

When out exploring Bellisseria I am usually on my bike, roller skates or riding my beloved horses. I am known to hoof it (walk) as well.
