I have to agree. I have tossed back many a house that was stunning, but something was off about it. This is just me and what I visualize. It has to tick ALL the boxes for me.

I have sounds on my region. A vineyard takes up over half the region and then there are trees scattered throughout. I have bird song, along with wolf, owl, eagles, and coyote which are common in my area of the USA. Yes, I provide a stream of romantic music for those who would prefer that, but there is something to be said for sitting in a swing, overlooking a lake, listening to nature. I find that very relaxing. Anyone who visits are free to turn the nature sounds off

I change my region from season to season. After Thanksgiving I will do the winter thing until the day after Christmas. I'm not much on winter, except for leading up to Christmas. It's pretty, but If I could, I would skip winter all together. I am a 3 season girl.

yeah. When I first applied the Ice Grey it was a dark grey. WTHeck? I figured I would have to use a third party wall system. This does not make me happy, but no choice at this point. I will still play around with the colors and see what happens. Thanks Diamond

This is me. I made my own everyday windlight/EEP setting and I use it all the time. No shadows, no moving sky, no shadows, and just bright enough. Only changing it for photography , or when I need mood lighting. Winks. From time to time when I am out exploring I do use the Shared Environment.

This is amazing Marianne. When I have time later I will try to recolor my walls. Grumbles about change not always being a good thing and walks off.

I've been here almost 13 years. I have been a cloud 3 times. Count that 3 times! My inventory did not load completely 1 time. I rarely use voice, but when I have the issue has always been my problem, not LL. I have had maybe 2 times that MP did not work for me. Website broken? Only a handful of times have I not been able to log in. Never have I had LL demand I pay more money, as it has always been my choice if I want to upgrade. I'd say for 13 years that is a pretty good track record. No complaints here.

I did Marianne. I took the Icy Grey texture from the old content kit and entered the codes and it gave me a dark grey. I checked to make sure I had done it right several times. same results. The wall kit is 3 IL. Not much really. But every LI counts in the Linden Homes.

Out of all the traditional floorplans, the Adams is my favorite. On one end I have a bedroom, bath and the the other end is the kitchen/dining. The entry room is the living room. I am profoundly claustrophobic in 1st, and unfortunately it followed me here to 2nd so I like large rooms and large homes. Oddly enough the Adams does not give me the feeling of being closed in with the walls. I tried all the new floorplans and promptly went back to the original Adams. In the process I lost my favorite wall color...The Ice Grey. It is no longer an option so I am very unhappy about that. I prefer soft neutral colors and not the garish colors that have replaced some of the previous colors in the traditionals. @Quartz Mole, can you not put back the ice grey texture? Pretty Please? If not, it's a real bummer that I have to use a interior shell for all the walls now, as LI is at a premium as it is. sighs...

I tried Teegle...several times since they have been introduced. I don't fit well on the Teegle. My avatar always sits off center and when riding my avatar goes into rubber band mode. It's quite irritating to see yourself ahead of your horse or even behind. I have tried everything I can think of to rectify this to no avail. None of my Waterhorse mounts do this and I have all four. I'll stick with Waterhorse.

I've leased a full region for a few years, then upped it to a 30K region about 4 years ago. I love digging in pixel dirt so this is my playground and classroom of sorts. If(and it's a big if), I ever decide to downgrade to a homestead I might consider getting one. Then again I can lease one for essentially the same amount and pay in lindens. Oh, and my tier never increases as long as I am a tenant. Yeah. I will stay where I am at.

I'll just stick with my organizational skills concerning my inventory closet. I have everything neatly arranged in folders...Dresses, evening gowns, pants, tops, and so on and so forth. Those folders have subfolders where I sort the items down by style like crop tops, bralette's, button down, wrapped or tied, cami's, corsets, halter, dressy, lace, leather, Tank, T-shirt, sweaters, etc. Then those subfolders have sub-folders...as in asymmetrical, long sleeves, short sleeves, no sleeves, off shoulder, etc. Since I went Premium Plus I have a photo for every piece of clothing in my inventory if it didn't come with one. I started keeping a neat inventory when I was about 2 months old. I just couldn't find anything in my inventory and was at my wits end. I was directed to Caledon and Happy Hippos where I took classes on inventory management. What a godsend those classes were. My inventory of just clothing items totals 30,000. I keep no furniture or landscaping in my inventory. That is all neatly filed away in storage boxes. I see no reason to keep all of that in my inventory once I have finished decorating and landscaping my region. I keep all original clothing boxes/bags/huds in their respective storage boxes as well. I make up outfits using the Appearance tab and save them, switching out shoes, tops, bottoms, jewelry as needed to refresh the look and for the holidays. Two clicks and I have changed my appearance, and am ready for anything. My objects folder stays empty unless I am shopping and most new purchases go there. I will take those purchases home, open them, delete the sizes I don't use (I only use one body) and file the originals away in their respective storage box. I keep nothing in trash either, emptying it several times throughout the day. I should note...I do have the CTS and have never used it. Happy with the way everything is organized as it is.

I was never into the Stiletto Moody shoes. I think I frequented B&G and Maitreya. I still have my collection of pre-mesh, from Bliss, AZUL, and My Precious and prim hair from EMO-tions, Dr. Life, and Vanity. I still wear a up-do from Dr. Life from time to time. I do miss Bliss and My Precious. These two Fashion Houses could put on the Fashion Shows like no one else.

A Traditional, Stilt, Log, Victorian and Newbrooke. Each one has has a gorgeous water view, and I will be hard pressed to give up any. Plus I am waiting for the 2048's to be released as I went Premium Plus on my main, which is me!.

You don't say what viewer you are using, which would help tremendously. Gray figures are usually attributed to a low complexity setting, and in that case you need to up the complexity of avatars around you. You will find that setting in your preferences.

You would not even render for me. When in clubs I will not render anyone over 150K. I don't mind seeing gray people lol. Sometimes I will take a peek at an avatar just out of curiosity. I always render my friends, but like me they are conscious of their render weight. The highest complexity outfit I have is 100K, and mainly because of a blouse that I absolutely love. I average under 60K 95% of the time. I want my graphics card to last.

No. The weekend sales have not affected my shopping at current events for full price. My closet/inventory is extensive when it comes to clothing, shoes, hair. Most of the time it is hard to find conservative but still sexy clothing in weekend sales, and to be honest, I am looking for pieces that I don't have. @Marianne Littleis right. How many pairs of jeans do you really need? I am on the hunt for gently worn/frayed jeans in bootcut, straight leg. I am not talking about the ones that are ripped completely up the front and back either. And definitely I am not interested in the pants/jeans are are unzipped either. Laughs. I went off topic there. I haven't bought makeup in 3 years? So that doesn't interest me. I have so much furniture, houses, landscaping that it's not funny. I buy pieces for the current season that I don't have. I don't do Halloween so not getting much linden from me in that area. These days I discover stores in the weekend sales that I wouldn't have found before. As I have said before in another thread...If I find something I don't have that is not similar to what I have already...It's MINE sale or no sale. And yep, I fatpack it baby. My reasoning? I buy classic conservative styles, but still sexy. It's gonna be relevant 5 years down the road. To me anyway.
