Usually... "Conservatives" don't have time to be genuinely offended by anything as they are too busy looking for things to PRETEND to be offended at as an excuse for BEING offensive to the rest of the Human Race.

It's like that "Conservative" who posted a review of the original tomb raider game, claiming it was unsuitable for anyone least of all teenagers because Lara STOLE ancient things from tombs, thus DESECRATED graves, KILLED endangered species, MURDERED heavily armed bandits without due process, and MOANED "orgasmically" when she fell off ledges and broke her back on impact with the ground...

Yes... Genuine product review by a "Concerned Christian Citizen".

Then there was that "Conservative" who researched and implemented a cheat code for Sims 2 to remove the "censor blur", downloaded and installed custom content "non pg skins" for his sims, and then added a "stay naked" hack to stop the sims from getting dressed again.

All so he could take video captures of un censored sims writhing on sofas and beds, so he could use them as "Evidence" in a lawsuit against EA/Maxis for "Selling a pornographic game to teenagers" for which he wanted $1,000,000 in personal compensation for the distress he'd suffered discovering that if he had teen kids, they might have seen a digital low rez nipple.

The kind of "Conservative Values" publicly espoused by the noisiest "Concerned Conservatives" deserve to cause offense, because they are designed to cause offense.

i was referring more to traditional ideas of morality and decency as well as that antiquated notion of right and wrong.

but dont worry, when the left has completed its task of destroying america through degeneracy the new rulers will imposs a morality more rigid than was ever alluded to even on 50's sitcoms.

Pride originally started as a reaction to raids on the Stonewall Inn.  The theme or "Pride" was chosen because the LGBT community did not have any "Power".

The "Pride Month" has nothing to do with "political correctness".  Either celebrate it or don't.  It is about recognizing the "rights" of LGBT people (as well as the need to improve those rights).

the fact you imply you know any of my feelings regarding pride celebrations is just another example of political correctness run amok.

What other kind of degeneracy were you contemplating there? The degeneracy of women having agency over their own bodies? The degeneracy of all people (including those damned poor people) having the right to medical care? The degeneracy of black people being able to have BBQs or their children being able to sell cold water on their doorstep without a white person calling the police (whereas white kids selling lemonade is a symbol of All That Is Right And Adorable In America)? Or how about the degeneracy of protests against gerrymandering and the disenfranchising of certain groups of (non-white) voters? Or possibly the degeneracy of all kids having the right to go to school without the increasing chance of being murdered? And, oh, I almost forgot the degeneracy of not tearing babies and toddlers from their parents' arms and shipping them thousands of miles away.

Nope. That's not the degeneracy you're referring to, is it? Not when you follow it up with questions like...

No, it's not a result of political correctness, but nice try.

This is what it's about, in a handy-dandy meme format. Apologies if the rainbow burns you.

As to the OP of this thread (whose many identities are pretty obvious to those of us who pay attention in this forum) all I have to say is...

yes, because you'r wrong.

It's started from within the lgbt itself, not the left gutmensch.

However it started it is now politically incorrect NOT to support Pride. "Oh, you don't celebrate Pride, you must be homophobic".

Oh yeah? So far your new epitome of morality only succeeded in making the most Murican bike company of all leave the country :D he was right - it is great again - as a joke...

PS: America is not you. The Canadians and the whole bunch of middle and south American states have a say in what is American too, get some education, will you?

A little less of the right wing hate here please, most consider me on the extreme of the right wing as an economic liberal and a social liberal (liberal in the classic sense not liberal in the progressive sjw who hijacked the word while being neither sense) and frankly couldn't care less about creed, colour or sexuality of anyone or what they do as long as its doing no harm to others

I don't understand...why would you not support a group of people who have been systematically humiliated, oppressed, taken advantage of, and even murdered throughout history, coming together to gain strength from each other and foster self-esteem? I wouldn't think you're homophobic if you don't support them, rather I'd just think you're an ashhole.

I think not supporting them is OK - but running around openly crying "it must be OK not to support it" kinda feels like some hidden agenda...

nobody forces you to support or celebrate Pride.. but being against it is something totally different, and with that last, i think it at the least smells kinda like homophobia.

I'm gay myself, totally out rl and sl,
am i a big supporter of Pride?.. no, it has to many forms that don't support the original case anymore.
do i think it's needed?...yes totally
