Part of the whole beauty of it, for me, was the juxtaposition of the dressed (!) statue of Eve versus the nude bystanders (as it is, of course, usually dressed ppl looking at a naked, marble statue). I don't know the story behind this jerk's harassment of you, but pretty clearly it's got nothing to do with the quality of your pictures which, as Orwar has said, are definitely a cut above most of what one sees on Flickr. I've told you before I admire and pay attention to your pics because they are so good. I meant that. I'm not going to tell you what you should or shouldn't do in response, but I do hope that you don't let him win by removing your photos, or ceasing from posting them. Only you can judge what the cost might be for you, but you do need to know that you have the unqualified support and admiration of everyone here. Whatever you decide. We totally choose how we react or not to them. You have your very own bully. You'll learn if you react, they are encouraged. So, they are mean to you and use your pictures on you as a club. They are mean and probably always will be. Sad... for them. Pity is often the only appropriate response. However, your ability to make pictures that you and others enjoy will improve with time and practice. No matter how bad and hopeless we think we are, with practice we get better. If you look in the 10-Year thread, you'll notice not just do avatars look better, the quality of the images improved. Part of that practice is posting our beginning images. We get them out there where we can see them and compare them to what others are making. It is how we get better. AND... there is no mandate that says you HAVE TO GET BETTER. All of this is SUPPOSED to be fun and enjoyable. You'll find that mean people often remain mean and miserable all their lives. That is a pity. But thx for the tip about that beach area! If you go, They currently also have a magical forest area and a backdrop studio. You can rez there and several of their backdrops have poses in them. It's a lot less laggy, and less crowded, than BackDrop City.
