There is a recent post here somewhere where people posted their favorite long gone sims. I am pretty sure everyone has a list. We are all sympathetic to the fact your sim has disappeared but it's not the first, nor will it be the last. You can rent another sim from many places but there is absolutely no guarantee that it won't disappear overnight too. The only way to minimise your risk is to get all these people here supporting you and donating towards a sim directly from LL. In the short term you need to ask LL how to get your stuff returned.

Did he return your stuff? If he didn't then you could report that to LL using the correct channels. A support ticket or maybe abuse report but as many others have said, this sort of thing happens all the time when renting from a private landlord and the only way to stop it happening again is to get a sim directly from LL

Oh I am sorry, I misunderstood. In that case I doubt LL will get involved and will class this as a resident - resident dispute. The same thing happened to me years ago with a sim we rented at. Not a nice situation, we had to move and rebuild.

I am rubbish at randomly saying Hi to friends because I am often/always busy myself and random Hi's can get distracting. My best friend I always IM when he logs in because these days he doesn't get on much. My 2 SL sister's and I have our own group and we start a chat in that and we are all comfy enough with each other to say reply Hi, bit busy chat later and none of us take offence. We always plan a day/time to get together each week for a gossip anyway. The others I never bother to chat unless there is a specific reason to message

If you tried all those MP results and didn't like anything, I don't know how anyone else can find anything you do like. You haven't given much information other than preppy. You didn't state inworld on your original now edited post but you can start with the MP results and tp to the stores inworld. Maybe they will have something you didn't notice when browsing through the MP listings. Or you could expand your information on what you are searching for. Extend your search term, use school uniform for example

well that depends on the vendor system the merchant is using. That is why I said "some" But for example, I just touched a casper vendor in a store on an item I have never purchased. From the menu button that came up I choose redeliver and this took me to a webpage full of items I have bought in the past from merchants who use caspervend. I also tried that stores redelivery terminal and got the same result; a webpage of items purchased using caspervend and option to redeliver copy items

Some vendor systems allow you to request a redelivery from any of their vendors, not just the store you bought from but if it's a copy item I think that contacting the seller is the best way. (this might even prompt them to add a redelivery vendor in their store)

If someone uses a certain vendor system then I am pretty sure even free items need you to pay L$ 1 which is automatically refunded. It is not always clear to people this will happen though without an info sign. As Callum said, also MP allows for gifting a demo. Outside of these 2 things, I see no reason why you would have to pay for a demo. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Interested to read thoughts though

I let it be known we welcome suggestions. I even have a link to a contact form on our blog for people who wish to make a suggestion that way. Nobody has ever used it but a few people have notecarded or IM'd suggestions. One of which proved to be very profitable. Obviously not all suggestions are going to work but I am happy to hear them. It would be silly not to IMO

I was about 4 weeks in and about to give up. So bored of guys wanting me to hop on the pink ball (some things never change, except the pink ball is replaced by better engines now) Anyway on the same day I wandered into a club and the manager there was so nice and welcoming and her sense of humour matched mine. We laughed and laughed. Later that day I was sitting alone and this guy walked past. His first day in SL but he had managed to fill out his profile a little. Just the first life part saying he was from the same place as me. I said Hi, and once he had worked out an IM, that was it. Inseparable from that day to this for 9 years.
