Firstly you need to remove the creators name from this post as its not allowed to name people on the forums. (Although in this case I wish it wasn't so in order to warn others) Secondly if you bought it from the MP you can flag the item. I am sorry this has happened to you but to me it looks like that is not at all what it says. You should also leave a review on it detailing what you actually got on purchase and finally send an abuse report inworld on the creator 1. There is no DEMO 2. It is very expensive 3. Only one single item in the store 4. Creators profile is completely blank These are all flags that the item is sold as some sort of scam and I am sorry you have lost money in this way -
Allow merchant advertising on the forum please.

I think it would end up being a lot of work for the mods. We already see people don't read the forum guidelines before posting, posts in any old forum not the correct one etc. As soon as people realise there is a new free place to advertise I can imagine it being a free for all. Not against the idea completely as I can filter out what I don't want to see but when you see a product image for the latest all singing all dancing vajayjay in general discussion forum, don't be surprised -
Your friend needs to read this then.
-
To be safe I would say don't advertise your own things
-
Usually yes if someone asked for help I think its allowed.
-
Then it is likely someone requested help to find something and someone showed them a marketplace product NOT advertising products. If you advertise your own products, your post will be reported and removed and even sometimes earn you a ban. read the community guidelines I linked above
-
You should read this before even using the forums http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Community_Participation_Guidelines

It is highly unlikely the creator of the skin you are seeking will see this so I think Christhinia is suggesting the best place to ask is the creator or their support team inworld.
-
I noticed that since we got that LI increase last year, lots of events have now used that extra to have a permanent shopping area around their events.

Welcome to Second Life. How people use this virtual world (most of us prefer not to call it a game) differs from person to person. Firstly you don't need to worry about a job and L$ from the start. Take your time to explore places, including places where you can update yourself free http://secondlife.com/destinations/howto https://fabfree.wordpress.com/fabfree-30-days-list/ Above are a couple of links to help you get started. Open search and type in something you are interested in "dancing" "nature" absolutely anything and just explore. You might find you can't access some places until you are over a certain SL age, often 30 days or 90 days but just avoid them for now there are plenty of other places to explore. Add your interests in your profile, this can prompt others to start a conversation Have fun! I am sure some others will pass on ideas too shortly

I guess the best explanation is to start here Then do a quick google of "What is Bento, Second Life" and there are lots of videos and blogs to help
-
Pretty much replaced by events I would say. They are the best places to find a cluster of designers
-
Funnily enough I don't normally check but I usually round down my L$ to the next 1000 by throwing the excess into the club donation jar on a Tuesday. For some reason today I just expected to have more to throw in than showed in my balance so looked at today''s transactions
-
Mine was a few hours later than normal but it's there now.
-
Inworld only, if the creator is still around and still has an inworld store
-
I suggest you go to the creator's store and try their redelivery vendor for anything you want to check out might have been updated. After 6 years probably a lot of stuff has or is obsolete now.
-
This is correct. It only determines what you see in your viewer
-
if you are unsure of the reaction/rules/whatever, why not post it on flickr then link that with an explanation of why its done that way?

23rd of March is the anniversary of the day we decided to become a couple. Every year on this day we repeat what we did that first day which was jump off the moon So here we are again at Inspire Space before the jump ETA This is our 9th anniversary jump. -
You need to remove your picture. we cannot name and shame avatars on these forums. We are also only residents like you and cannot do anything about abuse reports. You need to discuss with group members and find out who removes the ban and also file an abuse report from your viewer.
