That "notebook" graphic is the script error message, since you deleted some of it, the script is probably a little confused, if you follow the first instructiosn,(crtl+alt+T) you will beable to see it and delete it....it better to "take" these things back into your invemtory first and then delete them

IM's are private. in local, someone can listen in on you even if you dont know they are there. via chatspy's. or they can stay at a distance and list from camera view.............so mostly unless it is small talk, i speak always in IM

except the tier is still $195.00 USD per month, i can pay off a car in RL for that. and why is it so expensive when service has gone down the shi_er? if you can run your own server (software) you can have a free sim with unlimited prims in osgrid. compare the difference.

i personally think it is up to the parents, not only to stop the bully ( if their child is bullying), but also to stop wrapping their children in cotton wool. the phrase "harden the **bleep** up" pops into mind and while it may be a little rough, is has a legitimacy to it. anyone being bullied in this manner need to take a diferent approach, they should be looking at the bullies in a new light in that they need some sort of medical help, perhaps a Pyschyatrist, and not take the bullying to heart. In the same manner should we ignore greifers (same thing) and they will go away. It is your reaction of horror that gives them the most pleasure, and ignoring them is the bestest revenge. It goes the same for the bullies on facebook, ignore them and they will get bored.

i personally was originally an emerald man until they **bleep**ed that up. i am now on pheonix. i went off LL veiwers when i tried V1 and coulndt find anything. i have recently tried firestorm and it seems similar to LL's v2 or 3 ( i dont really know) but things for me are still hard to find and i dont feel like spending a lot of time working out where everything is now, even if it does do mesh. besides that, i find the new version very laggy and i hate lag, so i will cruise along on the old pheonix until they fix it all..........just sayin

i think the closest you can get is forcing everyone to supply payment information (credit card) and with every account i mean, so all alt would tie back to the one person (LL's information only) and i am not sure how many parents would give out the credit card details just so the kid could "play a game that was free anyway" i know there would be ways around it, but it would make it harder and those with nothing to hide shouldn't mind. i have never had a p[roblem with age verification or my cc details.

messages and IM's can be easily faked, so a screen shot of their transaction history will tell you definately...i have never had a problems buying and selling except for the occassional slow moving deliveries.........................................good luck with that, and only loan if you can afford it and dont expect the money back, i use this rule in gambling also. only bet what you can afford to lose.

i used a logitech for a while too, but it died two minutes after the 12 month warranty ran out...now i use a microsoft and it even works better and has so far ( please dont jinx me) has lasted past the warranty date

i am still using pheonix as firestorm was just too laggy, and i can build in the new lager prims too, i dont know enough about mesh so why give myself the headache using firestorm.

pretty much what they said...if you have your own server, you can have your own sims for free (inworldz) and they are all still laggy except for inworldz which is still a little laggy, but they dont have the same resources as LL, and i believe some of the same developers ( albiet disgruntled ones) broke from LL and developed inworldz....i could be wrong

I have only known about SL for 3 years after seeing it in an episode of ...ummmm...one of those forensic cop shows.......I was fascinated and goggled it and been here ever since. At first, I couldnt even log in properly, then I bought a new computer and could, but lag was always an issue no matter where I went, even if I was on a sim by myself. Finally, I upgraded my graphics card and havent had much of a problem since. Others talk about lag when I have none. I feel you dont need a huge computer, but the graphics card had to re draw the screen at a massive rate, and my previous nvidia 400 just wasn't up to it with 512MB...So now I have a duel core card with 1GyG ram, the fan on it is bigger than the one on my main dual core CPU........it isn't the biggest card out there, but it is plenty big enough and handle SL with excellence

sometimes it disappears altogether, just pay a friend $1 and it all comes back

zoom in real close and you should be able to right click it and take it (as long as you can see it) and if you cant see it. control +alt+T will show invisible prims
