I was an emerald usre, until someone stuffed that up, then i went to emergance, but they arent updateing it anymore, so i went to pheonix, which is a very similar experience to emerald and emergance. i downloaded the pheonix firestrom to do meshes and find out it is laggy and i cant find anything as everything is in a differant place........grrrrr, and i HATE laggy, so stuff meshes, i went back to pheonix which ISNT laggy....so, Dl pheonix and dont worry about mesh it you want to enjoy SL..........

imnotgoingsideways has it down pat, if it is your friend being harrassed, then an AR is all heresay and i should be your friend that does the AR. use a good password, change your payment info and ignore them, coz all they can do is harrarss you in SL and that will only jeapodize their SL. there are many of thses idiots in SL and you just have to learn to deal with them, and ignore their idol threat. but not matter what sort of a friend you HINK you have in SL< never give RL info out unless you have met them in RL, or know them in RL, ignore everything else as game playing.......good luck.....

your graphics card is too small and more ram would help amd much more processor...in other words,..........no....dont buy it, you would be better off with a piece of paper and a pencil

i have had way worse than that, hair and eye's with nothing eles....looed weird. seems nothing really changes in SL

you may be referring to the SL viewer, because in the case of Pheonix, it isnt possible........just for clarification

yes they cut to boost profits, and no, they arent completely empty, and sims are free if you have you own server...

the name you choose becomes the name of your account. i did the same thing with my w instead of W. and everyone thinks wiked is an adjective instead of a noun which pisses me off to no end. If there is a way ( not including using SL veiwer) i wouold also be most interested, but.............i doubt it!

LOL....i remember when i built my house, a medi evil cottage, and would go to change the texture on 1 wall, and the whole house would be changed to this texture after sl hiccupped while i was moving the texture. it took me months to finish it as i had to keep retextureing the entire house 7 times. when you take a wall, it will end up in you objects and you should be able to re-rezz it, leave all the stuff hanging in mid air and just position the wall to the stuff, THEN when you are happy with the position, LOCK the walls, floors and roofs in place. that will bring up a default window telling you the object your trying to take is locked. no more muck ups.......................well, a lot less anyhoo.

i remember when it only took a couple of days to get a responce to an AR, then they cut staff to boost profits......well, what else is new in the corporate world? however, there are other platforms around that are equal, empty and free.

firstly, you need a sound byte, you can record one yourself ( volumes can be tricky) then, at the top of your inventory is a button taggerd "create" , from the drop down choose "gesture". the rest is pretty self explanitory. when you inport the sound byte to sl, give it a name you will be able to find in your inventory. the sound usually goes at the end of the list in the gesture.if you have any trouble, IM me....have fun.

$90 per year? wow, thats cheap. i was paying $125.00 PER MONTH AUD, and we all know its worth more than USD's(yes thats right, it adds up to 1500 per year) and that doesnt count quaterlies, thats only tiers, and yet i agree, why not give something back to the poelpe who paid you bills till you got rich? its good business sense. As i dont believe i recieve a lot of good service for the money, and before you open you big mouth and tell me "then leave" i will tell you...i have too much invested to leave...................cause LL wont allow me to take it with me. and if you stopped you other account, then maybe you felt you didnt get what you paid for either (you said it, not me)

can anyone tell me is phoenix (1.5.2.1185) works with mesh? i have heard conflicting reports and before i embark on any adventures, i would like to know the truth. if it does, how does one import mesh from blener to sl? thanks guys

when I verified, i used my drivers license number ( which i couldnt even get access to in my own country) and i didnt understand what the prupose of it was. i weent to our own DMV, tried ti verify my license number and couldnt unless i was a police officer. i think if your friend wants to be verified, then they have to trust LL with the info. after all, LL has a responsibility to handle all collected information such as PP numbers, CC numbers very seriously and with great care...................just do it,!

Hi, i had the same problem a while ago, and having quad cores wont do a lot for secondlife. i have dual core 3800 @ 2.8 ghz, 2x 2 gb mem, but i did change my graphics cards to a quad core 1 gb asus. it made so much differance to SL and it didnt cost all that much ($ 80.00 AUD) and i am very happy with it. although i am running out of HDD (60gb left) still good enough to run blender, DAZ3D. but i only use chrome browser as it is the fastest and most stable browser..opera used to crash on me a little too often, same as firefox. chrome has not crashed on me yet. hope i helped a little,some ppl that tell you to buy this or that dont seem to get the word BUDGET. we all dont have fantastic paying jobs or rich daddies. good luck!!

paypal really does suck, and they charge you for it...so, get a visa debit card (like a visa, but you have to put money in it.) costs are cheap, and if anything goes wrong the culprets dont get much

i woouldnt know how you hadnt already had experience with this type of scam before. It is very common where i come from and the best practise to adopt is 2 fold. 1) if you get an email from someone you don't know, DO NOT open it, but flag it as spam and delete it. 2) if something sounds too good to be true, IT IS. there is no such thing as easy money, yahoo lottery (which i have won a thousand times it seems) or women from west africa who are looking for love ( they are usually men anyway) take care all

they may be in the TOS, but i look at profiles as a window to you house. your allowed to be naked in your own house and if someone peeps in your window while your naked, then thay have no reason to be offended, as they took the chance to peep. although, PUBLIC displays of nudity (billboards, media, public nudity in g areas) should definately be in the TOS.these are MY thoughts, not LL's. so MY opinion is profiles are your private domain and as such should be wehatever you make them.
