i agree monti......for a long time now i used that as a "friend confirmer"....and if a so called friend wants to hide if they are online, especially when there are the avenues you already mention such a the busy message where you can tell you friend you not feeling like being social today, or away status, i conclude that several senario's could be evident, one of those being they donet want you to know they are online., or have someone else to hide from. that being the case they are no person whom i would want to be associated with and have then de friended them. if i cannot see this? how do i know that there are friends out there? just because they hold my hand when i have a little cry?, even evil people do this, or because they hang with me sometimes?, even evil people do this..........if you cannot trust you "friends" then what kind of social media is this and can we really call that social?

i have a galleon that i dont have to wear. just rezz it. to sail it i have to go to a harbour that is set up for the public. it has 2 decks, + quater deck with captains cabin...........crows nest, and a fwd half deck.

why not just go to the spot and create a Landmark and give them that?

i am guessing you are talking about mian memory (RAM in olden day terms) if so, then 3GB is enough, as long as you arent running too many other programmes at the same time. I only have 4gb memory and it is plenty good. what you DO need to concentrate on is making sure you have a good graphics car. mine is a 1GB dual core nvidia. this is what does most of the work in SL. so Run only SL while in SL and you shouldnt have any problems, and no, it wont do damage to your computer, if you run several programmes at one, you computer may have trouble prioritising tasks and this may make SL run sl or crash.

have you tried AR'ing him with a list of his alts and the fact that he harrasses you by cell phone? perhaps you should clean house and delete this avi, start a new one, and maybe even change you phone number

this happens to me with phoenix too sometimes, and has nothing to do with drivers, operators or the viewer. i think it has more to do with things you computer may be doing in the background. I have a 1 gyg dual core graphica card, 4gb memory and i had tried reinstalling phoenix and still it happens sometimes.

nicely put monti....people expect things for nothing, but want their customers to spend in the club built for nothing. My belief is you get what you pay for.

Hi there and welcome to SL.....all you need to do is search your "false starts" name and open its profile, you can then drag and dropitems into chat or the box maark drop items in here (depending on what viewer you are using. you can also use the profile to transfer Lindens by clicking the "pay" button in the profile, and just enter the amount of what you have in the bank. only items that are FULLY transferable will go over, everything elseyou will lose when you close down the account. hope this helps and good luck with SL...

nope , you hit the nail on the head there. and the third party viewers have also been forced to used LL coding. the alternative (1 of them) is OS grid, and SL will lose many more people to it if they dont forget the pretty wsitches and buttons and get back to basics of makings things work first. and as you said, why fix things that work well?...i cant answer that, have been trying to since the changes.....Perhaps LL just wnats sl all to themselves? thay have attempted to grow too fast to big in pursuit of bigger profits, and ruined the whole thing, but they wont learn coz now they are stuck with the hideous monster they have created.

Yes it does use a lot. As everyone else pointer out. I live in Australia, and we have been getting ripped off for internet usage for years, and it is only recently that we have recieved "unlimited" internter ( the ealrly unlimited was , funnily enough, limiten to 100 GB) I found a new provider that, for $59 per onth i get 100 GB with no extra fees for over usage, insteadm they shape my internet. Meaning the slow it down, but if i notice it slowed, i can buy a block of data for 10 to get me over the billing period. Though, since changing provider, i have never gone over the data usage, not even gotten close. Ceka has some good data there regard data usage, but there are 2 conditions:- 1) the movies/music/or whatever will contain differant amounts of data ie for instance a song with vocals only as compared to a singer back by an entire orchestra will have vastly different amounts of data thereby effecting your usage differently. 2) it also depends on how you ISP counts your data usage too. you can do the exact same things with different providers and be billed totally different amounts. I found this after i changed providers. All i can say is, shop around, or go to your provider telling them your going to shop around for a better deal. if you are happy with them apart from the extra charges. they will probably come to the party and shape you instead, otherwise shop around for this type of deal, then instead of getting huge bills in the mail ( we get billed 2 cents for every Megabyte, 2cents x 1024 MB but i have recieved bills in excess of $800.00) you will just notice you internet speed has slowed, a much better way of finding out you exceeded your limit. good luck and hope this is helpfull

actually, it is only in her opinion that those are the fps rates. i find firestorm laggy, and jerky on my computer, i only have a lower end, but dual core with a big graphics card. i find phoenix much better for my machine. anyone saying a particular viewer is better than the rest in general, has a biosed opinion and will be ignored by me.......

While i had hoped that this was it.......i felt before i even logged in to check that it really wasn't. first of all, i dont see trees or any other texture like this, only flames. But i though i should take a look at it anyhow, and mine was set a 2750, i changed it to 4000 and that had no real effect.....gosh i was a little excited though....................................................................NEXT!!! p.s. i find it funny that your post was marked "Answered" with a big "success" as a heading, obviously someone/thing else also thought you had hit the nail on the head.......but alas........no. thank you for trying and please do not be discouraged from trying again.
