i owned a live music venue, the performers were expensive, and although i took donations, i never covered even 5 percent of my costs. i didnt charge people to come. I could have used some leeway as i was doing it to help others, but i got nada and eventually had to close it down. i used to get up to 40 ppl at one time, so i figure ppl that have simms that are free to users should get help, unless you want them closing down and leaving sl as a hopeless expensive game.

one sterp only though, seems a little tame when your putting your hard earned cash (actual cash) into it................most of us could probably build the same furniture for free, so when do the REAL rewards start?

i think blue eye's are popular in RL, so in SL everyone gets the chance to have them. though i bet only a small percentage of SL eye's are onwed in RL....mine are hazel in RL, and i got as close as i could in sl

SWA security is great, i have been using it for over 18 months, it work, its serious security, created by Sweetnwild magic. . it does a serious job......easy to use, easy to set up.......she also has products that take care of memory users that cause lag on your simm, it doesnt do anything over the boundaries of your land

as the others said, there is sooo much to learn and you cant learn it all at ounce. experiment with building and texturing in sandboxes, ask friends for help when you get stuck, watch tutorials ( although some tutes are made by people who think your a computer programmer) and learn from you mistakes. if you "own" land, you can build things, make mistakes and delete them without having to find sandboxes. It will take time, so take you time and have fun.............

LL also has to follow RL laws, or they may endanger sl existance.

have you tried clearing your cache? preferances-network and folder-clear inv cache and clear cache.....relog. sometimes when my cache is chockers things dont rez and movement doesnt work so well.

if people could only see what name you wish them to see, unscrupulous people would use that as a false identity, and could pretend to be whoover they wished. thank goodness you cant.

i NEVER go to a website via a link sent to me not her, not even by personal email. i wont even use a link that my own bank sends me ( which they just dont so that anymore here) if i am asked to log in to an existing account i have, then i use my own bookmark. anyone doing anything else is really asking for trouble. Having said this, those spammers are very annoying, and i am sure LL could delete their accouts if they wished, and continue deleting them until they get fed up and go away. the constant spamming is bothersoms, i get several per day, and sometime 3 from the same forum post....

my dear, it is hard to ban in apublic place, but you need to buy a SWA land security panel, and then you can bann him separately...........with that you can also have toys that eject him like a rocket up his ass, or asimply send him home....i have used SWA security for 2 years on mainland (but privately owned) and not had any trouble with it.............good luck.....you also could try harrassing him with spam until he gets sick of your parcel........lots of deadbeats are atracted to free luv parcels, if only for to perve on others doing it....which is sad as they are only pixels they perve on......

no, i don;t ever lie about that, but there are times when i don't recieve IM's ( when i am offline or online) and i get accused of ignoring them.....................funny really, i will tell the truth even if it kills me (RL and SL) and still get accused of lying.i do not believe there is syuch a thing as a white lie, but if you lie, then you set up a behaviour pattern when you will use excuses like, " i dont want to hurt their feelings, so i wont tell them" when in reality the only person you are protecting with a lie is your self, your pride or your vanity. well, when i was a kid, i never got away with any lies, so i made a decision to always tell the truth. true, sometimes people get their feelings hurt, but they get over it and appreciate (in the end) your honesty. At least iwhen i am on my death bed, i will have no burden of the lies i have told, and die with a little dignity................... Sl is a funny place, i find, in a place where no one can know your true identity, that there are a lot of liers, and they lie big time too. I guess some just like to believe in the lie they are telling.

you dont have to take it out of group search, ( you want people to find you right?) just go in to group roles and untick "pay group liabilities and pay group dividends" its under "accounting"

otherwise try this (permenant fix) ( i have phoenix too Advanced (to get this hold control and alt, hit D) debug settings, in the box, start typing " play typing anim" and in the drop down box change it to false this will permenatly stop typing anim, unless you AO overrides it BTW....welcome back to SL friend.......................:manhappy:

that all looks pretty funny, but that aside, my avatar used to fold in half a lot, and not on a pose stand. one minute standing there minding my own business, then all of a sudden bent over with my head between my knees kissing my ass goodbye. I went to preferances , network, and pushed my bandwidth all the way open and it hasnt done it since....dont know if this will help but am interested to know if it does....cheers Ladies xoxo

try getting a SWA Security and then use that to evict them. they could be people spying on you or LL's keeping watch on you. I am not really sure, but i have seen many spies before...

that might be true in an idealic society, except money IS power, and the more you have of it, the more power comes with. Money allows corporations to not only "bribe" but to influence in many ways. And to keep their own power, Governments HAVE to listen. IF the "bribery" is made illegal, then it will be only driven into the shadows where we will not be able to see it, at least at the moment it is official records.

i have been experiencing the same for at least the last couiple of weeks in Raelma. everything was fine until then, now rezzing takes ages and there is heaps of lag.............

there are people that do this ...and more in real life too.......just take the time off sl and look.....i am sure you will see something.

the whole idea of the "roads" was to allow a thoroughfare if the surrounding sim owners blocked public access. i had a minland parcel where you would hear the occassional motorcycle or car drive past and it did lend a certain element to it, i even own m/cycles and would ride/drive them down the road. However, the unmanned vehivles used to pile up on my land, at first the creator would come to take them, but after a few time, ignore my requests on numerous occassions. I could not return them because they would often be stuck between two parcels...............all i could do was to de render them. however, LL nor the creator ( who apparently had permission to do this) would help in this matter, which annoyed me to no end as i was cleaning up after someone elses disorganized mess.....so i say F--K OFF unmanned vehicles............

if you speak of visa debit cards, i still use mine,( i am in australia though) and if sl wishes not to accept, then i guess i will be abandoning my land and downgrading to a normal account

just remember if you deed to group, when land is sold, the proceeds from deeded items is split vetween group members, even if you eject all members first . i lose a bunch that way. best thing is NEVER deed your items .........................................

If it isnt against TOS now, then it should be, because like anyother website collecting information about you, it should be secure from leaving that site. your information should not beable to be found anywhere ales but SL........this is a large concern and makes me consider my options. Being a long time land owner, i wish to be able to release MY information at will, not have it distributed by others.

can you prove they changed their rules, and the p[ercentages? they will also have rights to change whatever they like, but i would name them anyway, just to make sure others dont get caught in their web and can stay clear. I would also submit a ticket under "fraud" to LL if i were you....i hate liers and cheater, there are enough of them in RL....
