thank you Cinnamon, you are close i think. although it isnt a sculptie, zooming in on it does render it properly, phoenix never had this problem, but i willl see if i can find the setting you speak of. unfortunately, i am not as familiar with firestorm as i was with phoenix, so that may be tricky for me.......

if you read my question carefully, you will note that it has only been happening when i use the firestorm viewer, not in the phoenix viewer, so it can't be a prims or script problem, or both viewers would see it. i have still be able to use phoenix now and then, and i see flames normally..........thanks but....try again.

Ever since i have been using firestorm instead of pheonix i see flames like this (among other things) and want to kow if there is a way of fixing it?.........my phoenix doesnt seem to want to work properly anymore, freexing all the time, so i am forced to use firestorm ( which i dislike intensely and am annoyed that we are slowly being forced to use beta which seems very laggy and .....well.....rubbish....to me)...any ideas on if i can fix this ONE problem would be appreciated....thank you.........and Happy New Year!!!!

think thats bad? somoa now wants to MOVE the date line so that their trading comes into line with australias and new zealands trading days as they are always a day behind. some tourist operators are worried it will affect the "last spot to see the setting sun"......to move the date line will put the entire world out, why cant they just change their OWN trading days, open sundays-friday.............and just how exactly would any changes to an invisible line change the fact that the "x" on somoa would stopp being the last place on eartht o see the setting sun....its not as if they are changing the rotation of the earth.....somoa should just change themselves. remember this.............god help me, to change the thing i can, to accept the things i can't and the wisdom to KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

ok, so i am trying to make a chrismas card, and so i have made it, put the door script in, but the opens on its axis which is in its centre, making the "door" a rotating door instead of a swinging door. anyone want to tell me a simple way to change the axis please?...help would be much appreciated as i want to get this card out to my friends before christams..................thank you in advance you lovelies

they wont. they dont care about you or your opinions, they only care about you paying your tiers.they dont really care that much when you have problems, thats why they reduced staff and made it so difficult for them to keep up with dealing with AR's and tickets. Residency in SL HAS increased and probably LL's income as well, so why should they bother, you keep coming back anyway...right?

if there is no proof that they were given to you, or that you bought them, how will you get in trouble, it isnt your fault. if they are illegal, they will just be taken from you inventory, and you may or may not get a notice telling you. I wouldnt worry too much

may i suggest that when it finally works, you ask for a refund on the failed attempts. It is only right that you get refunded for something you didn't recieve. and if that fials, i would even do an AR on billing..........with a screen shot of transactions showing the failed, but paid for, attempts....at least it would bring their attention to you

thanks heaps for that informative ( if lengthy) explanation. it cleared up a few things that i wasnt understanding about the new system. I wonder if we build something in old prims, if they change the accounting system to Li only, will they all disappear?. where do i find my statistics floater?, i am still getting used to firestorm, and not overly happy with the performance so far.

I had a club too and they ARE black holes, do not expect any return. first of all live music draws the paopla, but you will find that your artist is the one that brings their followers. very few people will come to a club just because they like the club, they come for the music. Live music. a lot of owners seem to go for lots of light and fancy stuff, buy i based my "club" on and open air festival. It was all based on reality, i even did a light show for the stage performers. All the performers loved playing there because it was close to reality. However, Live performers are expensive, and the bigger the crowd the more expensive they usually are.you can advertise in the classifieds, and SL events calender (this is where every one looks up their favourite performer each week. expect to pay performers 5000 to 10000 L per performance (1 hour) and recieved maybe 1000L in donations if you have a donation jar. you have to make it fun for everybody. a sploder helps as well. you can also advertise in actual SL magazines (more expense) but there is no need, events calender and the artist will bring their own. as long as you can afford performers you will have a clulb (a club is not a club if no one is there) they come and go because they think they will make money, but that is far from the truth. i did it because i love music, only the downturn in RL work made it too expensive to continue unfortunately, but it was going for almost a year. i still have members in the group....lol.......IM me if you need anything, and hope your pockets are deep.

i have all the templates and such, and i used them to make my own skin ( i do not wish to sell skins) but when i import it to sl, it comes out a little out of focus. the tats and chest hair are perfect, but maybe i used the wrong settings when importing. let me stress, i do NOT want to sell skins in competition with anyone, just want to make mine more realistic. so if anyone can guide me throught this, or tell me where i can buy a skin that i can take tp photoshop and add my tatoos and body hair, i would be MOST gratefull.......thanks

try to explain and be very specific about what you want. but at the end of the day, perhaps this person doesnt have the right skills either. there are other (lots of them) creators out there who, while they cant give you exactly the dream in your head, will get close.........after all, it is in YOUR head.............

depends on which country they live in, and the new Tos. IN Australia, they would be arrested and their computer confiscated. but only a short sentance if it is cartoon depictions, but still illegal as it can fuel a market for actual depictions. Although it would have to be abvious such a lisa simson, but age play is not. as far as rifles and hand guns, a license is required to own one, these laws were directly a result of the school shootings in the US and Tasmania. While i think they are only trying to curb the gun violence, to me this means only criminals have weapons. America is a hugely hipocritical place, a naked breast in ( in australia that is common, as long as genitals arent shown) US will bring the house down, but then they have LA (sin city) and what i would think is the largest porn industry in the world. Large Ministries ( that make millions but do little to aleviate poverty or help the poor) and yet cartoon child abuse legal? as i said, cartoon child abuse only fuels the market for the real thing, thereby fueling child pornography and giving it a market. and sying we will always have people that are attracted to children wont help, if you take away all their avenues to get such material, including cartoon stuff, then they may not be able to endulge. then again, that may drive them to the streeets to seek abducting some poor child. it is a big question the no human will ever be able to answer, but we can all face our own individual judgment., as we all no the difference between right and wrong.
