You do not sound overexcited... If you don't like the area so much that you are "yay" about it, I would say let it go and try for another.

I managed to stop a year renewal for my alt in the last minute, and changed it to monthly. I am keeping her a bit longer. I don't have time to clean up the mainland place she holds until Christmas is over. LL has had some Premium campaigns before with reduced prices, if they did it now, I would keep it Premium a bit longer.

Reality hit me too, it was VAT that broke me. I was quite hard into GoH. When I ran out of ways to decorate the different house styles, it was like "I have done everything" what is there left? Location matter incredibly much to me. I got lots of great locations, and I thought several times, "I am going to keep this for ever". I was not feeling guilty for owning several homes, even if some tried to shame those with multiple alt for "taking" good locations. But I was looking back after a year and thought, did I got my money's worth out of all the separate 371 Li places? I got'em, decorated them, and was on my way to the next one. It is so much more other and different things I can do with a 4096m than four 1024m. I will rather pay for a bigger part of land and all Li in one place. I saw how much more VAT adds on, I must spend money where I get best use of them. I am downgrading my alts and will probably keep only Marianne on Premium. It will be some kind of shock to have one Premium, 5 trials per 24 hours, and what to keep?? I know what I have here, do I abandon and get something worse? Or hope to be lucky? Big first world problem. 😋 For the houses in Bellisseria, good location means next to water, and a good view. Garden facing west. For houseboats, the #1 priority is end of row so I am not squeezed in. Also not a location where it is 2 - 3 lines of boats between me and open water. Preferably not one of the sand islands with only boats. If I could have multiple houseboats, I would hunt until I had them spread far apart in Bellisseria, but I would still want them in optimal locations for me. For the stilt houses, it will be on an edge of a region with free water in at least one direction.

Many set up a phantom surround with an image of landscape, a cityscape et cetera. I do not care about it as long as it is not in my way. If somebody returned such a phanthom surround to me, I would just think o.k. but not be forthcoming if the other person asked something of me. It is not "allowed" to make a walkway, driveway out to the road from resident land and over protected land next to the road either, but it is done all the time and if it is done well, it looks great.

Paging @Skell Dagger Ok, while we are waiting for the oracle, is not Stray Dog body skins a tattoo? Fitting the body skin to a head skin is almost impossible. Ugh, I hate pure green. But I nailed this challenge. This is the purest, most awful primary green I could find. I had already bought the sweater with scarves and bralette from Addams in the Shop'n Hop. And a green, gharish green was in it. The hair is a discontinued Argrace hair, but it is wonderful to have something that can be edited to pure green. I bought the boots from the MP for 1 L, wonderful and cheap green-ness. Excuse me, I have a beanstalk to climb.

Genus has had a hard year, but can they really not fix things like this and update the heads? Or include a head with no ears and no holes in the head folder.

What @steeljane42said about the head. The Lelutka Evo heads is really popular now, and it is a lot of new skins made for them. And for free, what can go wrong. I have not seen many clothes for Legacy Athlethic yet. You should demo the regular Legacy male and try to muscle him up also. Take a look in the stores you like, and see if they support the Athletic version or just male meshbody. Signature Gianni is included in almost every pack of clothes you buy. GA.EG would I not buy, unless I found a skin for it first. It can be difficult to shop for it, I do not see skins for them around. If you really like the head as it comes, see if they have body appliers.

I went with red. This is mostly a gacha from FD & Commoner and a diner set from Bazar. Playing to get the rare table and 4 chairs was simply out of the question, so it is Bazar.

Very good! The "splayed fingers" is another of the quirks the Belleza body has. I do not know if you have an Animation override? An AO replaces the default stands and walks with other movements. The new AO's made to be used with mesh avatars is marked "Bento". They animate the fingers too. I have low budget suggestions, if you need them. But if money isn't an issue it is just to go to any AO store and demo them. The splayed fingers issue can come back when you log out and in again. Reset the AO.

You and your friends idea of "average" is pushing the height sliders to max. The rest of SL is moving on from that. Trash a 4000 L gift and whine about the height. Or be a man and get yourself a new shape.

New is not better always. I agree that you should keep your look, the Origins heads will be popular a long time.

I hear you Sakura. For me, it was mostly that there was a "stern" look in the eyes of the updated version. I was not able to make the updated head 100% the same, but after a while, I did not notice. From pictures, the free head Lelutka gives away now had a bit rounder/heartshaped look. Have you tried it? I have picked it up, but I really had not had time to work with the free heads, but they sit nice in my inventory in case there is a great weekend sale skin offer that tempt me to tackle a new look.

Mornings in Europe is a good time for picking up abandons. It was Camper/Log home/Victorian a long time, now Traditional/Camper/Log home. With long time, I mean that my auto-refresh is set to 80 seconds and the homes stay on 3-4 refreshments or more. Campers stay for a much longer time.
