More images from Tortuga. The house and deck cover a lot of the water. If this had been OW, I would have had the boat on the other side, where it is only a small entrance deck. But with this an OP house, that wasn't possible. It is barely room for this boat on the outside, and the steps and mini-deck I made for going down to it.

I landed a place without a house - OL - and tried to reset the house controller. Nothing helped, not relogging and trying again either. I know how to do it, because the pier house my main avatar holds, had the issue. And there, I could reset the house controller. I believe the region itself need a restart, but to get help from LL during this long holiday is probably not happening. I choose to see it as "I set up a house until people get back to work and help me". Edit: Just to be clear, I don't live there.

About the blinds... I almost never use them, as said. But since I have a Stilt Pier, I thought it could be fine to close the blinds on the front door + door window. Well, that covered the windows in the great room too. So no way to cover only the public side. That was a bit annoying. I better use a phantom prim and a show/hide script. I have to manipulate the prim so it don't cover the door, or else I can't click and open the door. Not so fun.

I never liked the LH blinds, so I make my own out of a simple flat prim that I texture. Set it to Convex Hull and link two = one Li. If I will cover all windows on one side, I nudge the blind prim in the wall itself and stretch it so it cover more than one window. I bought a texture pack that has closed blinds and open blinds. Or, I can have the inside transparent. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/28-Venetian-Blinds-Textures-Full-Perm-DT-Material-Collection/6228493 For decorative blinds only, but not privacy, I bought many Roiro blinds from the MP. Sadly they are a gacha. But I was lucky and bought some cheap. They are the best looking blinds I have seen, and only 1 Li.

I have not cared so much about quality of pictures and such, it is mostly to show you how you can put in furniture. I decided to not have 2 walls and make a square entry. I might do it later, bacause I like how a square room looks. The thing I dislike most in Tortuga, is the small walls next to the entrance. But for now, I have the original walls on one side, and the selfmade wall that's the bath on the other side. In the big room, it gives me straight longer walls that I can use for fireplace, Tv, bookshelves or a kitchen module. So this is a work in progress. The house is owned by an alt that expire January 16th, so this house will not be kept. In fact, it will be abandoned for the next big release. I have 4 darling regions, if an alt scores a dream house I will renew her Premium.

I toss it all in my inventory. And what I find, and when I find it, is luck, or I remember part of the name. Directories? Folders? What's that? 😘

Working on textures. I will see how much more I can do today...

Tortuga is growing on me because of the large windows. I dislike the entrance with the uneven walls. I am working on first one design, with a toilet room to one side and a very small bath with just a sink and a shower on the other. I really like that symmetry. Even if the rooms will be so small. Then I thought... is symmetry so important? Going in to the main room with the walls gives me one bigger bath. On the other side, can it be a chest of drawers with a mirror over, a coat hanger, a chair... enough to fill in the strange corners. Maybe I do this last setup, with the arched doorway.

I found it hard to decide too, but Lauderdale has bigger rooms and a bigger backdeck, and a wide front porch. While Santiago has smaller "footprint" and I thought it can be the right one if you will add more decks, other houses and make a garden. I went with Lauderdale but I am strangely low in emotions, it is not the "woooowwww" feelings I have had. Plus that I am so worn down in RL. So I look at the rooms, but can not decide if I really like them. Anyways this is the bedroom and bathroom. I set up one wall in the room that already had 2 door openings. Like it was made to be divided. I wondered if I should have a walk in closet, but I could not decide, I set up a large wardrobe and a screen that cave me a nook with interesting things, colorful stuff from gachas. I have a small room left on the other side of the wall, I put some furniture there and it is not "speaking" to me, not sure what to do. Very low energy in me.

It is a shame that LL did not let it be some canals or open waterways through. I have to let the boat slide on the region borders to find water this open. I used a rez zone in Corderosa and went west. I belive I was more under peoples houses than beside them in the start. The Bandit 170 that's already mentioned, is the only one that handle this area well, I think. I have tried other boats, and their low throttle is too high speed.

It's been a long time since I posted here, but it is still a challenge going on, 52 weeks of color. You can never guess what the color is. No it is not brown, it is liver. It does not look like liver? Well, I did my best....

I am staring way too much on colors, and sometimes it looks different from the snapshot in SL and when I see it uploaded to Krita, so I can set 2 pictures together. Anyway, better late than never, I give you my version of liver.

My problem comes and goes. I had cleared cache, it is ok 1-2 weeks, then I must clear again.

People don't get Linden Homes unless they try... It is easier to sit on their hands and say it is unfair. It has been no issue getting homes since 23. December. I sold Mainland because I need to downgrade two premium alts that expire in January. The land sold much faster than I thought, so now I used the alts to test how easy it is, and got Stilt Home on land, Stilt home on water, Pier Stilt home, a Victorian and a Traditional. Plus it is Campers and Houseboats on the home page. I can really not see how it hurt any else that I do this test. People who typed slower than me, get a second try when I abandon what I have. What is the negative issue that someone give up other themes because they will try a Stilt house? Others has wished for, let us say a Victorian, and now they get Victorians. Plus all other types. It is a great time to pick a Linden Home. Next big release is after New Year, maybe as early as Monday.

"Buy in browser" is that the same as going to the Marketplace and select buy L§?

From tropic to arctic? I only wait for the first green textured 32m x 32 m cube under the houses. OW and OL, the same.

Fabulous garden, have you added some green ground prim, or was your ground this green? If I should have an OL house, I would dream about one on raised ground, so I could do a thing like this.

Yes, it is Bellisseria textures in the Stilt homes content creation pack! We must convince @Patch Lindenand @Abnor Moleto add them in all theme packs. After applying the texture, it is just to make sure it is looking okay in repeats as the "default" sand. I see sand pop up everywhere under the OW houses. I think I made the sand look not too bad while others... I hope it is a work in progress. Every OW is turned into an island? You can see better in the picture from the other direction, that the sand does not take over the whole plot between the poles. Just a little bit poking out, and reeds giving it a wild look. Maybe I add some more water plants.
