The worst thing for me, is when the item is listed as modify because it has a resizer script or a texture change script. But it can not be tinted or textured, or if it is a rezzable object in many parts, I can not unlink parts, or link the item in a linkset. In my book, that is the biggest sin. It is a warped way of thinking about an item as modify.

Well, true. But it is so many other things in SL that can go wrong. There is simply no way people can be prevented from it. And still, I have deleted things over and over again in SL, and use some colorful words wen I do it. Because I have to mod the house a tiny bit more... change the wall color, find a new floor texture, tint the wood shutters darker, and so on. And I forget to lock the house, or terrace, or swimming pool again... I have finally learnt to write down the exact coordinates of my house in a notecard. When I delete the house again, as I am wont to do, I pull it out from trash and type in the coordinates, and it snap in place.

40, 50, 60 colors may seem like a good deal, but there are so few of those that I like. Fatpacks are only worth it when they are on sale. Using the best colors in the fatpack only is a mean thing to do. Maybe Blueberry could do that and sell and earn a ton of money when it was less competition. Blueberry could set the price as high as she wanted, people still bought it. Now people has more stores to select from. I have not shopped much Blueberry the last years, I have bought some Saturday sale packs. Much of the Blueberry clothers are in the same style. Low waist jeans, small tops, deep plunging cleavage, open cardigans. Seen it already, have a full inventory of it.

It is already mentioned that Dust Bunny's older sets is still looking perfect. I have to agree. The Pasta Love set is my favorite.

Yes, Lucas Lameth's Tomato soup & grilled cheese set is one of my favorites. And I have a lot of Kraftwork's stuff. Fridge fillers, pantry modules, kitchen clutter, buffets, wine cabinets, all sorts of food.

I read many years ago, that creators had this argument: "If I sell modify, people are going to buy only the white shirt and tint it in any color." Personally, I think it is silly. Especially with dark colors, going from white to dark colors like maroon, dark green, ash, navy. And especially when tinting a white garment black. Shading and highlight disappear, the textile (like knit pattern) is impossible to see, it is like wearing a black garbage sack. But they had a point, there would be stringy persons doing this, and not care about how it looks. I would like mod permissions so I can tweak the colors. That is something totally different. It does not matter that a fatpack has 40 colors when 38 of them are awful. Creators seem to think they are so clever by offering all those colors, but I do not think so... It would be so much better if I could add a little drop of grey, so the colors could be less harsh. My idea of medium blue is probably not what the creator think is medium blue. I would rather start with light blue and add a small amount of blue, until it was enough. I can see no reason to sell modify, now when creators sell per body and not per color. Now they sell all colors/patterns included, but only for one body. Before, they sold single colors, but with all the bodies for that color with it.

Mutresse has started with LaraX sizes. Mutresse has a Rayna swimsuit that is sadly only Lara... yet... but I keep watching and hope it get updated to LaraX. I would buy this to full price again, just to have it in LaraX. No dental floss in the groin, or in the butt. It is enough coverage... and perfect. To have a pool that looks terraformed in the ground, I had to raise the ground. First I used prims under the house, these prims are 1.1 m tall. That would give me a pool depth of 1.10 m when I build a frame around the pool and lower it in. But with 2 steps up, I got a pool depth of 1.80 m. (1.10 + 35 + 35 = 180 m) Can you see me in the pool? The water reach the top of my head. I think the garden looks well. I used some shapes they are meant to be used as floating islands. I used them to edge the garden against the empty water. They hang out a bit, but the center is still on the parcel. It is void water, so no one can sail or swim there, so I am not blocking for anyone. This looks better than the single edge I had before, I think. I have been looking at the HPMD land shapes, but they are so expensive. I found a "poor man's substitute" on the Marketplace. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Floating-Islands-4-models/23119152 The rock part was very green by default, but the textures is included in the pack. Really a fantastic service from the seller, and so cheap compared to HPMD and Skye. I downloaded the textures from SL and managed to tweak the rock part to a more brown one. The HPMD land forms is looking better, but for an amateur like me, it wasn't so horrible. I might make new textures, so I can practice.

Thank you, the regions in SL that does not allow terraforming (Like Horizons) can be annoying to work with, but it is just to build up, up with mesh. 😃

It's worth grabbing it even if you aren't currently in a boat or stilt. I am using the floating dock on my Mainland property. I switched the ladder for a pool ladder with climb up animation, and changed the textures to match my other decks.

Well, I just came back from your Tortuga with a friend, and we agree that you are amazing! Do you have more than one house? I think that the more different people that decorate, the more unique styles we get.

Whoa, @Charlotte Bartlett your Zanzibar Hideaway went from 88 Li to 66 Li! 22 Li is not bad. Another store: Jura Waterfront cottage, from 72 Li to 57 Li. We can not take for granted a loss in double digits. The Cucumber house from Onsu is 153 Li and lost 0 Li. The Onsu Downtown skybox with enviroment, went from 97 Li to 92 Li. Without enviroment, 93 Li to 92 Li. It is not possible to set physics to "none" since a building need physics, and set up invisible walls with openings for doors will be a big job and add Li as well. It is many rooms. For the Cucumber house, the server number is 153, same as the Li number, so it's not going to be lower than 153 anyway.

Mm, it is moments like this when I am so happy to NOT be a SL merchant. If I was a seller of smaller Li non-worn items, I would face the critics and reply to them: "Thank you for notifying me, I have repaid your money". And call it a better solution than spending hours and hours of work for items that cost maybe 100L. The loss of 100L would be better than all that work, and I could then correct the Li number in the ad. Check the expensive items first and foremost. I do not know if LL will relist the stuff swiftly after the Li is corrected, LL has to know the workload is massive for the merchants. LL should not make it worse for them, but.... 🙄

Was this the Magicae house? It was a bit hard for me to count the Li since it is in more than one part - due to the maximum prims a linkset can have. But I could see the Li went down, and it was a lot.

Low Li items will show no difference if the download weight goes from 1.4 to 1.1. It is still 1 Li land impact. It is not necessary to change the description in the sales ad. But I am very sure that a boxwood urn had 1.4 download weight before this change from LL. I had it sized max up, and had not linked it since it would increase Li in a linkset. Now it is larger and more impressive, because I can stretch it until download weight is 1.4 again. In other cases, when an item has just a tiny bit lower download, it is a benefit to link it. Let us say the download weight is 0.8 before this change from LL. 0.8 + 0.8 = 1.6, the combined download weight is 1.6, and I have gained nothing. 1.6 is rounded up to 2. What if the 0.8 download weight objects have 0.7 now? 0.7 + 0.7 = 1.4, and two 1 Li items have a combined download weight of 1.4. It is rounded down to 1 Li. The example here is for mesh objects that has a server value of 0.5 when we look at "More info" in advanced edit. Lots of decorative small items have this value. Physics cost is a third thing that decide what happens with Li, but I do not go into it now... I don't have time to write so much. I just link to this post in the Linden Homes forum. It is often discussed how to link items so we can get optimal use of 371 Li. I apologize for eventual mistakes and bad explaining, English isn't my #1 language.

@Rya Nitely I have bought plants from Reid Parkin inworld, from the Marketplace, and got some included with builds (From Maya's and more). I have controlled the Marketplace purchases. I can not be sure where I got the other plants that has Reid Parkin as creator, they could be edited. Stepping stones: All 1 Li except the longest one that's 2 Li. Same as MP listing. Daisies pack: All correct, 1 and 2 Li as listed. Rocks brown pack: MP lists Li 1-2 for single and clumps. All are 1 Li, so here 1 Li went down for at least one clump. Climbing Rose pack white: MP lists 1-3 Li and archs 7 Li. The archs are 4 Li and 6 Li for the linked one - 1 Li down. The climbers (not archs) are 1-3 Li as listed. Rose Bush pack: 1 Li each bush as listed on MP. Wild Bushes pack: All one Li, as listed. Geranium hardy white: All one Li, as listed. Hibiscus tall yellow: 1-4 Li, as listed. Climbing Ivy pack: All 1 Li, except the Tall size. Same as MP listing. Hanging Vines long: All are 1 Li as listed. Red blossom Vine: All parts 1 Li as listed, also the long fence. ----------------------- So this did not increase in Li, instead 2 items dropped 1 Li.

I can rez what I have of yours when I log in. I do not have your stuff out in the garden now, but I have in my inventory.

Great idea! Are creators/store owners aware of this? Those who sell big items like houses, will have an advantage over those who do not update their listings. I have not yet found a house that is 100 Li lower than before, but I have found houses that have lost over 50 Li, like 60-70 Li. It is a bit difficult to calculate the Hisa house "Hacienda la Valeta" since it is rezzed in several parts, due to the maximum prims a linkset can have. The "Magicae" house from Scarlet Creative is also rezzed in parts. I sort Land impact low-high when I shop. Land is my biggest expense in SL, and when a house drop in Li, it is more attractive to buy. It makes me able to have more items on the land than before.

It will be a massive job for creators, to upgrade all sale posters and marketplace ads. They will need time... Many will probably not catch up in months, years, maybe never if they only have a Marketplace store. I hope customers will not go back and complain that the land impact is lower than advertised!! 😂

Laguna Bend house - from 202 Li to 168 Li. 🥰 When I first read about it, I had to check that it wasn't April 1th! I have linked a lot of things in sets, so it is really difficult to find exact out how much they gone down. But my Voda pool gazebo (From Kraftwork) has gone from 48 to 40 Li. A planter was 4 Li and it has gone down to 3 Li. Another thing is the Apple Fall boxwood urn. I had stretched so download was 1.4. And now the download went down to 1.1, and it means I can stretch it more, without Li increase. It is bigger and more impressive now, and it have the same Li.
